Karter Scientific 10000ml Glass Round Media Storage Bottles with GL45 Screw Cap, 3.3 Borosilicate, (Single)

Sturdy (thick glass), easy to see contents. I use it for mixing up model engine diesel fuel and storing it. I wasn't confident that it would be air-tight, but it was easy to put an o-ring in the cap just to be sure.

As advertised and the quality is just what I was looking for. Also the white labeling on the outside makes it easy to mark what you need to.

This appears to be good quality judging from other reviews. The packaging can probably use some work, maybe foam or bubble wrap. Mine arrived broken but the seller is replacing it. Just a bit of an inconvenience but I guess it happens.

Good for pouring jello-shots

I bought three 500ml and one 1000ml, and two of the 500ml and the 1000ml cracked on the bottom. They held up a couple of times in a pressure cooker, but cracked on a hot/stir plate. I don't think they our worth the money if they don't last more than a few times. I have at least three friends that are having the same exact issue.

I purchased this media bottle to have something robust for making agar plates, for use in gourmet mushroom growing. This held up in my knock-off instant pot just fine (though I was sure to leave the cap of the bottle open slightly, and let the pressure cooker fully depressurize for a couple hours after sterilizing the agar in the pot).

The bottle leaks despite being tightly closed. The glass looks good, hence 3 starts. The leak should merit 1 star, but maybe my lid just had bad quality control.

Used it today in my pressure cooker, ran 30min at 15psi and no weird issues with the cap or the glass. Works great definitely will be grabbing 1 more just to have around.
