I picked up this socket adapter set on a whim, but it’s quickly become one of the most used items in my shop. Whether I’m running a 1/2” socket on a 3/8” ratchet or using my impact driver to spin off bolts, these adapters get it done without breaking a sweat.Pros:• Solid build quality – Made from impact-grade steel, these feel rugged. This looked like a solid, well-made tool, but I ended up returning it unused. I decided to take my car to a mechanic instead of doing the DIY work myself. It seems like a good product if you need it, just not for me at the moment.

There are other options for the four smaller adapters if that’s all you need. The part that makes this set potentially more valuable is the big adapter. It is a 1/2” female to 3/4” male adapter. If you need that particular combination, this is a good set.I needed one of the smaller adapters, and a 3/4” male to 1/2” reducer. I misread the details on this part. Different suppliers list the dimensions in different sequences; the most common is probably listing rachet size first and socket size second. This one lists those in reverse order. But they have the info available if you look closely enough. I had to order an additional part to meet my needs.

I have used these a few times now on the impact gun while working on motors and they have fit, pivoted and held up to the abuse.

Have used in high impact torque specs and it held up fine.
