Amazing Product as long as you do the work!
First of all, I have a 2018 Audi Q7. So, the paint isn’t exactly new. I’ve seen a lot of reviews on what it looks like after applied initially. Well, I applied this on 12/23/23. It is now 01/04/24 and this is after the first wash. So, you get the almost 2 weeks after pics.I will say it does a phenomenal job. Even washing is easier. My microfiber mit feels like it glides over the paint and what used to take lots of scrubbing comes off easily now. I use a blower to dry and water just beads off so easily. You must do the prep work like everyone else says. Temp ranged from 45-50 degrees. I went…1. Wash2. Iron remover3. Clay bar4. PolishAll on the first day. Next day, in the garage, I applied the 50/50 alcohol/water to remove all other contaminants and then applied the carbon force. It was pretty easy. MAKE SURE you use multiple microfiber towels when buffing off! At minimum 3. They will get excess on them and make it harder when buffing off. Here’s where I would change one thing. I watched multiple videos from Chemical Guys wondering when to apply the 2nd coat. All I found was one video saying 3 hours. DON’T! I did and that was the hardest part. Wait at least 12 hours to apply the 2nd coat. I was able to apply the 2nd coat when I did it just was extremely hard to buff off. Very tacky. Waited until the next day and then did all the rest of the glass. Gave it basically 3 days to cure and this is what you see. You obviously don’t have to wait that long. But, I had the time being it was Christmas and everyone was at our house. (Yes, I wanted to be outside while all the craziness was going on inside) I used about 3/4 of the bottle.Hope this helps someone. It is a great product. You just have to have the time and patience

So far so good! Easy Application on new vehicles
Very easy to apply. Used this ceramic kit on my new Colorado. Great for DIY without spending hundreds of thousands for someone else to do it. Best for new cars or if you have experience with paint correction and detailing on non brand new vehicles.Washed with clean slate soap and dried thoroughly. You do not want and water drops or residual spots before application.I purchased a pack of microfiber towels to use and throw away. The single bottle provided enough to do two coats on the truck. I have applied one coat to the outside of the windows as well and finished the plastic trim with a different product.

Great product!
Fantastic finish, looks great and was much easier to apply than anticipated. Take your time, work one section at a time, and the results are amazing on paint, chrome, and lights.

Nice product with a few things to keep in mind.
Last summer I coated my car with Cerakote. It is a nice product and the car shed water easily for the summer, but this spring most of the coating was gone (they claim 400 washes) so I decided to try another product. After some reading I settled on the Chemical Guys Carbon Force. The reviews said the product was thick an it is. After applying and buffing the surface is actually tacky as it takes awhile to cure. The Cerakota came with two bottles to the Chemical Guys one, but that product is so thin that it took a bottle and a half to do my car, while took less than a half a bottle of the Carbon Force. This is a preliminary review as I've applied it only a few weeks ago, but it seems substantial.I took away a star because it's a little harder to apply given the thickness. Don't let it sit too long. Even after 30 second it can be a challenge to buff it clear. The front of my car is wrapped with Xpel ppf and applying over that was even more difficult. Waiting 30 seconds was even too long so if your car is wrapped move quickly and use a detailers light.

Seals paint well
Very easy to use and does a great job sealing in the paint. It’ll be sticky for 24 hours so don’t touch it or you’re going to lock in your finger print.

Great product
I've used this product on 5 cars now. One bottle was sufficient for all 5. One warning is to be diligent when wiping the product completely off as the directions say. I had to go over a few places on the first cars I did because I did not do that, even though I thought I did. It required polishing compound to remove it from those areas and do them over. Do smaller rather than larger sections. I have the process down now and spend much more time wiping it off. Also, do not shortcut the prep. The surface should be perfect, or at least how you want it to be long-term when you apply it. If not, as with any ceramic coating, you will ceramic in the imperfections. If you are willing to put in the time it, will reward you with a lasting, hard, beautiful surface.

Looks great, no real protection
Longtime user of CG products. This is the 1st time using Carbon Force but have coated many cars and trucks. Cars paint is in excellent shape. Performed standard 4 stage correction with wash, clay bar, de iron, and polish before application. Car sat in the garage for 2 days to allow proper flashing. Carbon Force is easy to apply and looks great when done and set. Sheeting action is good, but that is where the good ends. This stuff is soft! There is no real protection as these Ceramic coatings are known and used for. We are in Florida with the harsh sun, extreme weather, and don't forget the bugs. The last coating (Color and Drive) that was used on this car performed well for almost 3 years before naturally eroding as they will. The Carbon Force coating is less than a month old and I literally had to polish the bugs off the front fascia after a road trip! It was almost as if the bug guts were embedded in the coating. When I polished with CG V36 it was apparent that the coating was removed as well with the polish. Totally unacceptable results from a top shelf company with this price point. Emailed CG directly with no response. I will go to Geyon or Adam's (hearing good things about Car Pro also). At least it will be easy to re coat the car as this stuff comes off easy. I will not recommend this product.
