is this as effective as undenatured type ii collagen? i think i may have bought the wrong thing...

From what I have read, hydrolyzed type 2 collagen is used differently by the body than undenatured. Hydrolyzed helps rebuild tissue, while undenatured works through the immune system to prevent breakdown.

I don't know whether making it "bioavailable" means it is hydrolyzed, but it makes no mention of it on the packaging and it doesn't mention hydrolization anywhere on Jarrow's website. NO!!! Absolutely not,at least not in their ingredient list. Jarrow is a fairly ethical company, I can't imagine them slipping pork products in their chicken collagen...
