Like all pink salmon, this fish does not have much flavor compared to other types of raw salmon. That is why it is so much cheaper than other salmon. Pink salmon has the same nutrition as other salmon, especially in the wild caught version like this. Still, you can make an easy quick meal with pink salmon by sauteing with flavorful herbs and vegetables or simmering in a spicy sauce. The fillets are thin, so they are easy to cook quickly and evenly. These are rather small portions of the side of a smaller fish. They tend to be mushy. I cut the dark part out of the center before I cook them as it tends to taste fishy. I would not buy again.

The salmon comes in a pouch, instead of a can, which I prefer it is easy to open, and even easier dispose of. The salmon tasted very fresh, and it was absolutely delicious.
