No, the picture is a female. Adult males have large horns. Actually the only sure way to sex them is by looking at the plates on their underside.

My female came with a broken antenna and she's moving very slowly compared to others weve had before. Does that mean she is not well???

Possibly depends on what occurred during shipping. I recommend waiting to see and if there is a problem contacting the seller. Broken antenna indicates some trauma during shipping. Sometimes they recover and sometimes not if they live then the injuries will heal and the broken antenna will regenerate after their next molt.

Can i order only 1? or 2 of the same sex if they need to be in a pair. i do not want to breed them. just keep them as pets.

If your temps are above 85° we will email you and ask if we can have your roach held at the post office to prevent it being overheated during delivery to your house. The Post Office may or may not ask to see your ID to release the package to you. For home delivery we do not require a signature unless the customer requests it.

Big, beautiful, and FUN pets!

These guys are so cool! Seller was accommodating to my request for a big one and while he couldn’t make any promises, he delivered on that! Received my first big beautiful boy and I’m changing minds every day on the yuck factor of a pet cockroach! Couldn’t be happier with our new pets, and because I’m a total spazz, I even made them a little bug mansion complete with a “candlelight dinner” table set up, which they seem to love. They clear their plates everyday! They love carrots, apples, and arugula most!

Very easy to take care of

Arrived live and well. Be prepared to sign for it. I wasn't home first time round and missed them; worked out well regardless. Roach is very friendly and adult sized. Very easy to take care of. Me and my niece love playing with him.

This is a ripoff. I thought I was getting more than one roach. Certainly at least five. Plus it was half alive when it arrived. Be certain to read what you’re buying thoroughly.
