radio tuner
I bought this item to update my system but unfortunately it it did not meet my needs. This comment does not attempt to be negative about the quality of the tuner. The service from the supplier and Amazon was excellent. The return process was easy and without fuss, the refund was made within two days. Well done to both the supplier and Amazon

Good machine - some criticisms.
DAB FM and Internet Radio all work well with included aerials. Low bitrates on DAB are annoying. Presets are easy to allocate. Remote is small and preset list has to be brought up manually.The tuner found and played mp3s on my laptop, but not lossless files. Nice sized screen, and brightness can be changed.2 issues made me dock one star - I had to buy a euro to uk adapter, and the set-up menu is in German (The manual is in German and English). To change the language, look for Sprache in the settings menu.

Complete Waste of Money.
It concerns me that by buying these types of Internet Radio receiving devices that you are actually achieving nothing whatsoever, since this device works upon the same idea of having a small Laptop to receive Internet Radio Channels, and then connecting your Laptop up via its Audio Output directly to a Surround Amplified Speaker System that can be controlled using the Surround Systems audio mixing. It is also a fact that DAB Channels can be pick up upon any Laptops, since I have been using this arrangement now for 5 years without the needs to waste additional money buying any additional device to replace my Laptop. You can also tune into Spotify using any Surround Audio System with a built in Amplifier via your Laptop. So why would you need to buy any additional clutter just for the sake of it.
