Great remote! ILX-407 head unit.
Works as advertised. Like most have commented. The battery "may be" dead upon arrival. Change the battery BEFORE you leave a negative comment. Products DO sit in warehouses for a time. Purchased this remote for my ILX-407 head unit. EVERYTHING works as it should for this particular application. The main reason for purchase was to "power down"/"power off" the head unit. There is no power on or off button/function on the ILX-407. Unbeknownst to me, the ILX-407 was not designed to power off without shutting the ignition off. Nonetheless, happy with the remote. ALSO, Apline tech support was a pleasure to work with and answered all my questions.

Works with Alpine ILX-507.
It works on the Alpine ILX-507. I would have given it 5 stars but when I received it, it would not work. Turns out it was shipped with a dead CR2025 battery.
