This is the best bundle that includes the handgrip extension
So the Canon RP is available from many retailers for an identical price. So who to buy from on Amazon? First thing to check is to make sure the seller is an authorized Canon dealer so you have your full USA warranty. Second, take a look at the included accessories and determine which ones you will use and provide you the best value. So, this review is more about this camera package and less about the Canon RP itself. There are plenty of other reviews on the Canon RP camera -- it takes great photos, comes at an attractive price for a quality 24-240 walkabout lens (as many reviewers state, it may be the only lens you need on your camera, and is for me). So from Beach Camera, this Canon RP is a full USA model with all included Canon accessories (although I don't really like how Canon doesn't seal the box, so anyone could open it and remove/replace accessories, although Beach Camera didn't do this). So let me tell you about the other accessories. As for the additional accessories, know that many of them are JUNK. But you are paying the same for this bundle package as just the RP camera body and 24-240 lens from other sellers, so why not just go with this bundle and get some extras? Here is how they stack up.The most useful accessories:- the Canon Extension Grip EG-E1. OK, so the grip costs $79, and makes the bundle price $79 higher than any other bundle, but you are getting everything in one order without having to get another package. If you want the grip extension, like I did, that makes this one of the best bundles to get.- Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS R. Not all Canon RP purchases contain this adapter, so this is good to get, especially if you have or intend to purchase less expensive EF lenses to use with your RP. If you don't need it, you can always resell it.- 2x Lexar Professional 633x 64GB SDXC Memory Cards. These memory cards are what really sets this bundle apart. These are faster speed and better quality than the bundled memory cards with other vendors (and some only included a pair of 32GB or a 64 and 32GB cards). This is two 64GB cards, large and fast enough to do 4K recording, and it is good to have a couple so you can switch out cards when you go shoot different venues, etc, if you are doing photo/video editing and need the other card at your computer. [When I bought this in November the memory cards were not included when the bundle shipped, since Beach Camera was sold out, but they included a note they would be shipped separately, and I think I got them about ten days later. But I have other memory cards so not an issue for me.]Other accessories I could have done without but are OK and glad I have them:- generic second Canon LP-E17 battery plus external charger: OK as a backup, although so far the stock battery is enough for the shooting I have done, and I haven't even really tested this backup battery, although it is nice to have if I ever get in a pinch. If your photography needs are more demanding, you'll be buying other batteries anyway. Probably best to get Canon brand, if you can afford it, as generics are not the same.- Deco Gear Travel Case. HORRID manufacturing odor with this case that, months later, is still faintly present, but the case is OK, and I actually use this for my Sony AX53 camcorder which has a large lens hood, and with attached battery, this Deco Gear case is PERFECT for that camcorder as I often just take the camcorder and tripod for a shoot and this case works great for that. I believe the case would be adequate for the RP with attached lens, but most would chose a better case.- 72mm UV, Polarizer & FLD Filter Kit. I've never used filters before, but ended up putting the UV filter on and leave it on all the time. It would protect my Canon lens in the event of a strange accident. It doesn't seem to degrade the quality of the photos any. I pack the polarizer in my bag, but since I rarely do outdoor shooting, I haven't used it yet, but may someday. The FLD from what I have read is for florescent lighting for film cameras, so doesn't even apply to this camera.- USB Card Reader. This thing screams cheap, but I misplaced my USB reader I normally use on my TV, so I grabbed this one, and it worked just fine. So hey, I'll put it in the OK category.- Photo Video LED Light. I've never, ever used a light on my indoor photo shoots. I don't shoot in the dark, and I find lights too distracting and make people squint, but if you need a light, this would work, and actually comes with two rechargeable batteries. Note that it puts out a very white light, maybe 6000K color temperature. Will not use category:- Condenser Microphone. This is junk. I actually tested it, and preferred the Canon built-in mic to this thing.- Macro Filter Set. I don't shoot macro. These seem like they would degrade the image and be a waste. I could be wrong.- 72" Monopod. Again, very cheap plastic item. Don't think I'd trust my RP on this thing. Any other monopod would be better than this. But I have never found a monopod to be useful for me anyway.- 12" Tripod. The red, bendable legs are a nice idea, and might be great if you were attaching a smartphone or small point and shoot camera. The RP with lens? Forget it. This can't even hold it up. But I might get some other use out of it eventually.- Compact travel tripod. This thing shows in the photos, but is not in the description, but was included. It is COMPLETE GARBAGE. I mean, this doesn't even pass for a toy, because any kid would be bound to get hurt by the plastic shards when this things splinters and breaks. The flimsiest tripod I have ever seen in my life. Might make a good gag gift for a photographer, but other than that, this thing is useless. Really. Please don't trust your RP on this cheap, flimsy thing. It is a joke!- Screen Protectors. If you like this sort of thing, would be OK, but I've never had a use for them on camera screens.- Software suite: Its all PC based. I'm a Mac guy that has the software I need. So may be useful if you need that sort of thing, but it seems kinda like garbage software. It is just a code for download. You'll probably get on junk mail lists. I wouldn't recommend it.That pretty much completes my review. I had a great buying experience with Beach Camera through Amazon as the camera came on time and new in retail box. Am loving the RP camera (although I'm just an amateur in every sense of the word). I've actually used this camera for video recording as much as I have for taking still photos. On a solid video tripod, I've gotten some excellent results with shooting 1080p to upload to Youtube (4K recording is great, too, but takes more storage and computer processing and I don't need 4K for the work I do). Fantastic picture quality (I use separate audio recorders).I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this bundle from this vendor again.

Great bundle
Really compact and light camera. Haven’t had a chance to take too many pictures just yet. Good bundle with useful accessories. I found the extension grip to be not really required although perhaps people with larger hands might find it useful.
