Justin Boots Men's 12" Broad Sqr-Toe Stampede Boot

Love these boots for walking, they are so comfortable. Shank is softer than my Ariats, but sole is softer and different composition. The heel is part of the sole, so quiet on hard surfaces. Great looking leather work and stitching. These are more a "fashion" boot suitable for daily city slicker wear and NOT resoleable. Watch the fitment videos, I needed a half size smaller than my usual shoe size, just like Justin recommended.Warning: The tag on the boots shows a top layer, like an orthotic insole-it depicts the bottom of the insole and the cushioned layer your foot contacts is actually the tan layer, which is shown as the second layer. I exchanged two pairs, one because I needed a half size smaller and the second because I thought the boots were missing the blue orthotic insole. Closer examination revealed nothing wrong with the third pair received, likewise with that second pair I returned, so I called Justin to explain the confusing tag depiction of their insole construction.Amazon.com Customer Service was exceptional and the returns were both my fault for not knowing proper fitment first, and not understanding the tag depiction of the layers of the insole.Thank you, Amazon! I normally wear a 10.5 athletic shoe but chose to go with a 9.5 as I wanted a tighter fit. Justin boots are absolutely incredible and I loved these right out of the box. I wear these boots as often as possible and they are by far my favorite pair of shoes I own. Incredibly comfortable and they didn't take long to break in. Most other boots take a good long while, but these broke in quickly. The color is right on in the picture but keep in mind these are square towed boots and the first picture looks a little more rounded. The leather is high quality and the stitching is really well done. I have had them for just over a year and except for the normal wear and tear of the leather, they have held up incredibly well.It has a nice size heal on it so if you haven't experienced a tall heal, your calves will need to adjust to the new size.

These boots are great, but as others have said, they definitely fit a size bigger than stated. I wear size 13 in all shoes, but I ordered a size 13 in these and it is definitely a size too big. They look great and are very comfortable, but order a size smaller than you normally would.

Very pleased with these boots. My first pair, and I'm glad I went with Justins. They make awesome boots, and these are comfortable through the day. They do fit a tad loose, but that's to be expected I think with boots. I tried some similar ones on (Bent Rail model) just to get a better idea of correct size I'd need these in, and as with most shoes, they won't always fit like the next or the same or similar. Overall I would get these again. I get complimented on them almost everywhere I go.

These boots are great! They look wonderful and will look even better when they're broken in. Unfortunately I did buy the standard width instead of extra wide to fit my hobbit feet. Definitely not a fault on the boots. It was my own error and unwillingness to exchange them. Justin's do seem to run a bit wider so they've been fairly forgiving in that sense.Overall I'm very pleased with these boots. The quality is excellent and I'll likely own them long enough to forget about the price. They make wonderful casual to dress-casual boots.

Very nice quality boots. I have worn Justins for years because they last well and always fit right. This is the first pair that I've ever had that had a little rough leather around the inside and rubbed my lower legs raw, but I was able to smooth the irritants.

A perfect fit and very comfy with that broad square toe - I would buy this model again at any time! I don't understand why people say they are too large - I have use the same size for the last 45 years and the size on these Justin boots are right on the spot! As an example - If You always buy size 9D and they fit like a glove you can not buy 9EE. EE-sizes are much wider and will feel much to large.

My fiancé loved the look of the boots....they are a bit large so he has to wear thick socks with them. He was able to use his orthotics with them.

Boots arrived quickly and were exactly as described. Size fit perfect and overall are very comfortable and look great.
