Packable Backpack Daypack for Men Women 16L Lightweight Travel Hiking Daypack

Bought this as a day pack for our trip to Acadia. Great product for the price, it held 2 rolled up sweatshirts and lots of snacks in the main pocket, a large Nalgene bottle in the side pocket, cell phone in other side pocket, and 2 wallets with keys in the front pocket. Gave 4 stars because the little zipper at the front/top of the backpack constantly unzipped itself.

First off, I love Waterfly brand and the story behind the brand. After I bought a Waterfly fanny pack and was very impressed with the bag, I wanted to purchase a backpack for daily use at work. As a stream biologist my job takes me from the office to the river and even to the classroom — so I needed versatile and water resistant. With my petite build, I needed a smaller bag. This bag is the perfect size. One complaint is it lacks secure pockets. My previous backpack maybe had too many zippered pockets, so I was spoiled with organized storage space. My other complaint is that the fabric is very noisy. This backpack didn’t meet my expectations set by the fanny pack I purchased (never thought I’d say something like that), but it’s still a good bag for the price.

I purchased this backpack for my daily use. It holds all my workout gear easily. It's lightweight and weather resistant.At first glimpse, it seems small but once you open the compartments you will quickly realize how much space does it have. The material is strong and well-made. Aside from the ample space in the main compartment, it also has small compartments which I use to keep my wallet, cellphone, and lock while at the gym.Overall a great backpack and I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

The thing I don't like about this bag is the top part flap, doesn't close; doesn't seal. All it is, is a Velcro patch that comes undone very easily unsticks to it's little square and that means everything falls out of the front cover pouch unless it's like 1 small pencil or something. Wish it wasn't like that and actually zippered. It's deceiving because the zipper part is just for changing out the color, not for closing the pouch.

I’ve had this daypack now for a few weeks and I love it (almost). It is well constructed and and fair priced. But as a plea to the vendor please get rid of the go-to-nowhere zipper on the top flap (see many other reviews) and put a second zipper pull on the bottom pouch.

I used this backpack as a personal item on a flight and to carry necessities around with me on vacation. I was surprised at how much fits in this small backpack. The material is super lightweight. My belongings stayed dry on mildly wet days, but would probably not have stayed that way in a heavy rain. The best part for me was the straps. I found the padding to be super comfortable. Zero chafing, and no digging in to my shoulders. Highly recommend!

For some reason the flap on the front pocket zips all the way off. Other people have noted that here, but it means that there is no security--it always wants to come open, and it would be easy to picture it just falling right off, or being ripped off, or hanging open. Otherwise it is a nice size bag, so I'm disappointed it doesn't actually seem usable. (Also the elastic pull cord on the front pocket flap also snapped the first time I tried to use it.)

I wasn't expecting much from this backpack given the price point. But am I surprised by the quality and functionality of this thing. I love how it folds into itself to store and the amount of items it can carry once open. Not sure about the waterproof aspect, but it seems like it can at least repeal water. The only minor issue I have, as other reviewers have noted, is the front pocket zipper not staying closed - minor flaw given everything else and other pockets available for use. Also, the price is unbeatable given the quality. Overall, I give it a solid 5 stars!

Sehr praktisch und dennoch sehr stabil.... Toller Rucksack

Dieser Rucksack fällt sofort wegen seinem sehr leichten Eigengewicht auf er ist kaum Spürbar. Er dient als Ersatz bzw zusatz- Rucksack wenn einer mal nicht ausreicht. Das Fassungsvermögen gibt der Hersteller mit ca 20 Liter an, ich finde darin auf jedenfall genug platz für Ersatzkleidung meines Sohnes, kleine Sacks und Wickelutensilien sowie für Getränke 2 mal 1 Liter.Optisch gefällt mir der Rucksack sehr gut eine schöne Farbe und tolle Form. Er bietet ein paar unterschiedliche Fächer ein kleines Vorne gut geeignet für Feuchttücher oder sonstige woran man schnell dran muss. Die Geldbörse bzw andere wichtige Gegenstände würde ich dort nicht platzieren. 2 Seitliche Netztaschen dehnbar bieten denn perfekten platz für Getränkeflaschen. Und einem Hauptteil welcher durch 2 geteilt ist was ich absolut perfekt finde. So können feucht gewordene Sachen von anderen getrennt werden.Die Qualität stimmt die Nähte sind ordentlich verarbeitet, bis jetzt keine verschleiß Anzeichen. Laut Hersteller soll der Rucksack wasserdicht sein, ich würde Ihn eher als Wasser abweisend bezeichnen da sich am Reißverschluss doch ein paar Tropfen vorbei gemogelt haben.Wie angegeben lässt sich der Rucksack im Handumdrehen wieder in eine kleine Tasche verwandeln wie auf dem dritten Foto zu sehen sehr praktisch fürs Handschuhfach bzw Handtasche.Der Tragegurt ist dank dem Netz Luft durchlässig und somit angenehm zu tragen er ist auch ein wenig gepolstert und scheuert nicht beim Tragen auf der Haut.meine Meinung: Als Zweitrucksack sehr zu empfehlen einfach weil er leicht ist und sehr platzsparend verstaut werden kann, aber als Hauptrucksack bietet er mir einfach zu wenig Platz da wir immer zu dritt als Familie unterwegs sind.

Als leichter Rucksack für meinen Sohn angedacht und mit wenig Erwartung zum Test angefordert, hat mich der Rucksack total überrascht.Benötigt man ihn nicht, verstaut er sich in sich selbst - man krempelt ihn in die Fronttasche und kann ihn platzsparend in der Schublade verstauen.Will man ihn nutzen, krempelt man ihn aus seiner Tasche heraus und hat einen leichten Tagesrucksack mit ausreichend Platz für die Vesper und eine Jacke.Ich befürchtete, das Material sei so wie diese dünnen Regenjacken, aber wurde überrascht, wie kräftig das Material ist.Die Träger sind aus Netzmaterial und komplett Luftdurchlässig. Außen befinden sich zwei Netztaschen für Trinkflaschen oder Kleinkram, der griffbereit sein soll.Die vordere Tasche dient sowohl als Packtasche für den Rucksack, im Betrieb ist sie aber komplett nutzbar. Das gefällt mir.Innen ist nur eine laut knisternde Unterteilung aus Plaste, wie lange diese hält muss sich zeigen. Hier hätte ich ein Gewebe sinnvoller gefunden.Einen kurzen Schauer kann der Rucksack sicher überstehen, aber wasserdicht ist er nicht.Fazit: Ein superleichter Tagesrucksack mit ausreichend Platz und Tragekomfort, den ich ganz sicher weiter empfehlen würde.Vielen Dank für die Gelegenheit, diesen Artikel testen zu dürfen.
