Maxam KTJUICE6 Chrome Heavy-Duty Professional Juicer

Suprisingly well constructed for the price. Used in my home once or twice daily. Heavy, sturdy arm with smooth, ergonomic grip. Four stars due to tendency to lean forward with significant downward pressure of the handle. Chrome plating seems to be of high quality, and does not seem likely to wear off or flake. Top compressing cone, strainer and juice funnel are removable, and the latter two are made primarily of stainless steel for easy cleaning. I throw them in the dishwasher regularly with no ill effects thus far.Despite being tailored to large citrus fruits, the juicer works excellent for small limes and lemons. Works much better than my handheld "lime specific," juicer. Works well for oranges. Grapefruits are juiced easily, but are sometimes on the large side of what it can handle while still completely removing all liquid.Highly recommended. Not a name brand, and no parts replacement should it break, but the quality for the price is remarkable.

I mostly liked this juicer and certainly got a lot of mileage out of it. Two flaws. The circular bracket that holds the bottom juicer cup is not stainless and corroded from the citric acid. Impossible to fully clean and stop the corrosion. Also two of the joints broke into two pieces. I could still use the juicer with one joint broken, but soon after the other one broke too.

I had bought the Olympus X-Large Commercial Juice Press and sent it back to Amazon because I had the problem of the strainer sticking to the fruit and popping out with the fruit and, the rubber suction cup feet not working properly. I also sent back an electric Omega C10, just to much of a hassle. It would clogged with pulp after 2 or 3 grapefruits. Not so with this one. This is just as big and heavy duty plus, it looks great. So far we've used it on 2 bags of grapefruits and it works great, not once did it clogged. The juice was 98% pulp free better then Omega as far as pulp in the juice. The strainer dia. size is 5", plenty big. Just put your fruit in carefully and pull the lever down. That easy. Easy to clean too. As in all juicers similar to this design, be careful and vigilant with the handle falling and hitting you on the head. I am sure it would hurt. Also, keep away from children. It looks like it will last a life time.

The juicer is everything that they said it would be, heavy, extremely easy to use, and makes a great addition to a counter if your counterspace permits. I've had electric juicers that were good for veggies, but horrible on citrus, and other electric citrus juicers that spin but simply required more manual effort thatn I liked. This one does not require effort and is as easy as pulling the handle. Would have rated it 5 stars, but it does leave about 5%~10% of the juice in the rhine. Would definitely recommend if you have citrus trees like i do and a little unusable juice is tolerable.

This is probably not the top end product, but it does its job well. I am not so fond of the mix of chrome and stainless surfaces. Most screws/nuts were lose and had to be tightened before or right after the first use. Then I juiced through a whole restaurant-size box of oranges on my party without any problem. Loved the orange crushes or simply the juice. Hint: don't buy navel oranges, they yield too little juice. Get yellowish little round sweet oranges instead.

This device is bad on multiple levels. It should be taken off the market. It looked like fun, but after using it for a month, I am going to get rid of it. First, it is dangerous. Two people in my family had their fingers skinned -- one with bleeding, because the device's sharp edges and tendency for it to collapse on one. It is big. It doesn't do anywhere nearly a reasonable job of juicing. Orange juice squirts in your eye as you lower the squeezer. It takes about 10 oranges to get a single glass of juice. In other words, it leaves a lot of juice. It gets plugged up with orange pulp. Pieces of pulp end up in the juice. The inner parts don't "stay put", and when one lifts up the handle, it the pieces accompany the orange (adding to the danger when you try to fish it out). It is too small at the bottom to hold a pitcher -- you have to use a very thing glass. All in all -- should get an award for "worst kitchen design of the year".

Everything about the juicer was as advertised but the juicer itself was slightly out of line and the back lip of the juicer cup slightly strikes the lower lip and cup sometimes. I tried to contact Amazon about it and ended up googling an Amazon return and repair number and it turned out to be a scam, necessitating a complete cleaning of my hard drive and reloading it. I've not yet tried contacting Amazon again but am frustrated by the process.

The handle swings too far away from the squeezer to leverage direct downward pressure. I have to hold onto the top part in the back to keep it from falling toward me when squeezing oranges. After two uses, it's not sliding very smoothly, so I'm going to try some mineral oil to lubricate it. Super easy to clean, though. Overall, it's ok. I'm not going to write to my mom at home telling her about it, though.

L'ho acquistato per un regalo ad un'amica... effettivamente è molto robusto ma ahimè quando l'ha poggiato sul marmo abbiamo visto che non aderiva al piano in modo uniforme... non si capisce se questo sia dovuto ad un colpo durante il trasporto o costruzione non accurata dello spremi agrumi...
