A great kettle and looks really nice in the kitchen

Lovely looking kettle but,if yr hands are a bit damp, holding the handle is slippy and awkward.

Great style, reasonable price and boils water quickly. It's a little bit noisier than previous kettles so probably wouldn't repurchase.

I just received this Swan kettle today, and it is lovely. Lightweight, stylish, colour perfect for my kitchen.And, with regards to noise with reviews saying it is noisy (god knows why they think it is)It certainly is not noisy, it is very quiet, and a lot quieter then my previous stainless steel kettle from another manufacturer.Very pleased with the kettle

So far so good, kettle heats up water quickly and pours perfectly! Ours had a sliver metal lift out lid on the outside, plastic on the handle and the kettle inside and out apart from the covered heating element which ofc is metal. The kettle doesn't make water taste of plastic.Ours so far has no wobble when it boils so perhaps this has been corrected...The wide base makes it more sturdy and therefore the water heats up quicker. However, if you're short on space then this may not be for you!Soundwise, it's quieter than our cheapo one we had and not as loud as I thought it would be. Average loudness I would say.I wish the water gauge was on the side not under the handle but not the end of the world!I don't feel the kettle is overally heavy.So for so good I feel I bought a good kettle for the money. The only slight fly in the ointment, is where's it's made on the base of the kettle in tiny writing China... Let's just hope Swan demand better quality control!I will update this review in three month's time to let you know how the kettle is getting on!May 2024 UpdatePleased to say kettle still working perfectly, still no wobble and working as well as it did when first used.Can 100% recommend this model, sturdy, boils quickly, pours well, no plastic taste. Very well packaged and arrived on date stated. Great kettle. Boils in under 3 minutes. Water is really hot. Easy to lift even with my arthritic hands really good grip on the handle. Really easy to use. The lid just pulls off for easy filling.i brought the black one and it fits in just nice in my kitchen. Easy to clean,just wipe with a damp cloth. Value for money. I live in a very hard water area I have only just had to do my first descale after 6 month of use by 5 adults who are drinking hot drinks every 20 minutes. Highly recommended.

Wonderful tea sugar coffee canisters easy access and easy to clean

I was really pleased with this kettle when I first got it and couldn't fault it, it looks nice and did the job perfectly until the Swan logo fell off after a month. Considering its a reputable brand you would think they would stick the brand logo on with something other than cheap glue . If you decide to buy it be careful when wiping it to clean it try wiping around the logo if you can. I was offered a replacement but didn't want to be without a kettle. So now I'm stuck with an unbranded kettle and just recieved a partial refund😒
