Sylvania 72488 - LED Middle of The Night Light Flashlight (LED MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT LIGHT)

I like this night light/flash light/emergency light. Too bad it's gotten so hard to find.The price is right, the movable light bar is a nice feature, and the rechargeable batteries seem to be durable. On the proper setting, the light also comes on with decent brightness when the power goes off.The autolight sensor works well. The motion sensor (which switches from 1 to 3 LEDs when it senses movement) is adequate for a night light; I just wish they stayed on a few seconds longer. As an emergency flashlight, it's barely adequate, but better than many multifunction products of this class which I've seen and used.Overall, it's hard to beat for the price of around $13.My only caveat (and the reason I gave it 4-stars) is the multi-position control switch. It's tiny and poorly marked; the position detents are small and close together so you can barely feel them; the controls are not at all intuitive and I strongly recommend that you read the instructions and make sure you keep them where you can find them.Once you get it set to your satisfaction, though, I think you'll find it a decent product for its purpose.

I do like the light, even though one has failed now. It did last 4 months soI guess I can't whine to much. The other 2 I bought have functoned as noted in the write up. I am going to use the third as a power failure light It no longer senses motion. Very bright and a good idea.

So far; so good. Have had it operating about 3 days now. Works as advertised and I like the idea of re-chargeable batteries. We like the motion detection controlled high beams (3 bright LEDs) because as soon as a bathroom trip is over it reverts back to a one LED night light and it is around the corner from the bed so we have a nice dark bedroom for best sleeping conditions. It also only uses one of the duplex receptacles and leaves the other one clear for the vacuum cleaner.

Light gives perfect level of illumination and then if there is motion increases the illumination for several minutes. Great safety enhancement in a night light that draws little power. Automatic power failure is built in so you don't need two different units and with LEDs the power failure function lasts many times more than would a fixture with regular bulbs. I have bought several of these to use and also for gives everyone that has received on loved the gift and remarked on their pleasure with the functions. Great stocking stuffer for Christmas.

Good product--I'd like more than 10 seconds of light, though. Why not adjustable?

I did love this device - while it worked. But alas I have two of them not working now. The last one "worked" but soon decided to show all the lights when it senses motion (which is what it should do) but after it stops sensing motion it switches to one light FLASHING. That is not supposed to be one of it's options. Put that in your bedroom and watch it flash all night.

BEST EVER IT IS SO HANDY TO HAVE NO MATTER WHERE YA PLUCG IT IN I USE FOUR OF THESE IN MY 5TH WHEEL TRAILER AND THERE GREAT YA WONT BE SORRY.
