Bell+Howell Splash WP10-Y 16.0 Megapixel Waterproof Digital Camera with 2.4-Inch LCD & HD Video (Yellow)

Buy cheap, receive cheap. I just wanted it for my water excursions in Hawaii. It worked in the water, actually took some really great shots, but I found with much movement I just got blurs . It's limited, but still works for some stuff. The underwater fish pics I took turned out great. Might be good for snorkeling adventures, but my tubing ride was too much for it. Doesn't work in dark places either. In bright light the screen was nearly impossible to see.

Instructions minimal. opening camera back to insert batteries not intuitive. I needed help. son went online to get instructions.

By far, this camera's biggest problem is taking pictures in sunlight. You cannot see the LCD screen even when you try to shade the screen. During our vacation, we had to aim in the general direction of the subject and take a couple pictures, hoping we took a good one. We had the same problem when we were snorkeling. We could not see the screen taking surface pictures, only when diving. The camera does go through batteries; we had to use a fresh set everyday. Some of our pictures were missing when I downloaded them although this may have been operator error. The quality of the pictures were inconsistent; however, we did get some really clear photos with great color quality. The camera was very durable- dropping it, etc.. The camera never leaked. In summary, if you're buying this camera for a young child, it might work out for you. If you are using it to preserve memories, I'd encourage you to find something else.

This underwater camera produces really sharp images (although i would avoid close-ups) and we have had no problem with water getting in. The battery life seems reasonable; we only have to change batteries after using it every few times. I read tons of reviews before purchasing this one, and I am happy with it.

It may take great picture's, but I wouldn't know. I learned after I bought it, that it has to be registered before you can get the damn thing to work. I attempted to register it. I was sent a bunch iof goobilty gook not knowing there was a code in it required to finish the registraion. I had already deleted it. So I have attempted to call, with no luck. Eleven time's I've tried to call!!! I went into my computer registry and removed all that was there. I'm gonna try all of it again.

It's OK gonna 1st kid camera nothing to be serious about. Picture is not that good.

No french users manual available anywhere - volume on video is difficult to hear. Have not tried yet under water picture.

Very nice, compact camera. The shutter however, is hard to click without moving the camera and blurring the image.

I like it I haven't tried it out yet, one thing it doesn't mention is that it only support 16 gb sd card. I tried to insert a 64 gb and a 32 gb sd card but the camera kept saying it the "card is full". My first thoughts were that the camera was defective until I tried a 4 gb sd card and it worked, than I wanted to see if a 16 gb sd card would work and it did. I have another water camera and i take more underwater videos than I do pictures.Looking forward to testing this camera out on my next camping trip.

You get what you pay for. Multiple functions from single buttons....flash off and on took a while to work out. We haven't tested it's waterproof feature yet but I am dubious. It's cheaply constructed and uses a micro SD....

I did not find this to be a very friendly point and shoot camera; most of the pictures taken with it were blurry. The shipping was fast and the refund just as fast. Thank you.

This little camera takes great pictures, was amazing under the water. Once I figured out how to plug it into my computer (camera needs to be turned on!) it uploaded easily and pictures were beyond what I expected. A great buy

I have not had a chance to test it much yet, because It took several extra weeks to get the micro sd card
