The weather was starting to cool down here in the middle of Satan's Armpit (aka South East Texas) so I decided to buy a couple of these mystical campfire color packets, I arrived at my friends house one Friday night with a bottle of wine and the weather was down in the mid 50s a very nice evening for a fire in the backyard, I pulled the Mystical Fire packets out of my purse and poured one over into the fire, it took a little while for the colors to start changing but once they did it was absolutely amazing, we sat there all night pouring these into the fire and watching the colors change, I would recommend using more than just one packet at a time, overall the quality was great and the price point was good. I plan on purchasing this again.

They do change the color of the fire WHERE YOU THROW THE PACKET IN for about 10 minutes. The fire will change from blue to purple, pink and green. I have a large fire pit, about 4 feet across and I bought 6 packets. I placed them spaced out around the fire and they looked pretty cool, but I was hoping for more it looked a little sparse.If you want your whole fire to change color like the image shown, you will need a bunch. If you have a large 4 foot fire pit like me, you will want at least 12 packets. Smaller fire rings, I'd use at least 6.**Don't cook food on the fire for awhile after use, if at all, and stay out of the smoke. The warning on the package states that the chemicals used are pretty dangerous to be inhaled or ingested. Be smart and have fun!

This was so cool. They were a "suggested item" when I bought some roasting sticks for a beach bonfire party we threw. (I didn't use it until all weenies and marshmallows were roasted!) I surprised the kids by randomly shaking the package into the fire before the flames erupted into a cool-looking teal color. Kids and adults alike were all very excited and loved it. It didn't last too long, but we were seeing little licks of blue for 20-30 minutes or so. Will definitely keep some on hand for future bonfires and campfires.

I ordered these packets on a lark. When it came time to use them, I was thrilled to read that the correct way to use them is to throw the whole packet in. No opening, no sprinkling, no mess -- just throw in the whole packet (or add a second one for even more color, particularly if you have a big fireplace.) The other surprise was how long the color lasted. It was not a flash in the pan. The color lasted as long as the fire did. I'm glad I ordered a big supply. There is nothing more relaxing than a fire in the fireplace (I'm using the outdoor one this time of year) and this takes the experience to a whole new level.

I purchased these a couple of weeks back and the package states, for best results add 1-3 packages. So naturally I threw all 3 in LOL. It gave colorful flames for hours and the next day there were still some touches of green flames. I bought a box of a comparable product for the same price from my local hardware store but those packets only gave off colors for 5min tops. So I am leaving this review as I repurchace more of these for future bonfires. SO MESMERIZING and SATISFYING! Thanks a bunch!

These work AWESOME if you've never tried them. Lots of fun for all ages. Kids loved them as much as the adults did. Really bright and makes the fire dance with color, mostly greens and blues. Really neat while camping!!! Will make sure to order these every time we go. The KOA had them there, but they wanted an arm and a leg for one pack! Great deal to order online before you go!

Amazingly worked very well and lasted a long time....I mostly saw the green and blue colors. I put in two packets and still saw the colors 15-20 minutes later. Remember DO NOT open the package, just throw it on the fire and watch the colors. It will only show color in the area that you put the package, so if you want the whole fire to be colored then you must use a few packages. But overall these work very well and are a great conversation piece. Hope you enjoy them as much as we did on thanksgiving around the fire.

Used these when camping. The colors lasted longer than I thought but weren’t as vibrant as I thought they would be. Kids loves them though but I told them not to roast marshmallows over the blue flame.

Good product. Performed as described with lovely coloured flames and is a great talking point.

There was powder inside of the envelop but aside from that it seems fine

A fun product to add a bit of difference to our fireworks party this year. You need at least three packs to get a good visual effect on an outside fire. Disappeared pretty fast but lasted long enough for it to be noticed and discussed.
