This is just an expensive very small fan
This describes itself as a "portable air conditioner" fan. There is nothing about it that is an air conditioner. It is a SMALL FAN. You can do the same thing much cheaper by buying a much larger, less expensive fan and putting a bowl of ice cubes in front of it. This is a fan, that has to be recharged via USB port, and there is a little tank where you can add water or ice cubes. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY A BETTER, MUCH CHEAPER FAN and use a bowl of ice cubes. This is a rip-off, as are, I'm sure all the positive reviews.

Flimsy construction
The fan is nice and works decently but my issues is with the paper or cotton or some material, after a week at the most the have started curving and becoming flimsy. How do you get new ones? The other issue is the front grill is not securely attached. Granted $30 is not an exorbitant amount but for that price the least that can be done is tell you where to get new parts

OK value if you manage your expectations
1. It is isn't obvious how to pull the device apart to get ice in the tray even with illustrations in the instructions. 2. The tray is too slow to place in conventional size ice cubes. If you have an ice crusher setting in your fridge's ice maker, that will be fine. 3. Despite the product's name, it is not an air conditioner in the sense of the typical 14 to 20 degree temperature difference you would expect to find from what you consider air conditioning. That said, if you consider this a swamp cooler or evaporative cooler (which it is), you may feel satisfied with your purchase. I used an infrared thermometer to compare the ambient room temperature to air coming from a conventional fan and this device. Unsurprisingly, the air temperature coming out of a conventional fan was the same or close to (within 0.5 degrees) of ambient room temperature. The temperature of the air coming out of this device (with crushed ice and water in the tray) was about 6 degrees lower than ambient room temperature after testing over a short period in which the ambient room temperature started changed a few degrees downward.

Decent as a fan in a small room, especially for it’s size.
It’s got more power than I expected it to have for such a small item. But it’s a bit expensive for what it can do. It’s great for a small room such as a bathroom or for a day that is just a bit too warm. It’s also quiet so it’s not much of a distraction or disturbance. I would say it’s worth it for a dorm room . But for a big room or as an air conditioner I’d say spend your money on something else .

PLEASE LOOK FOR OTHER OPTIONS
Honestly if this product was $12.99 it would be good value for money. At $30, please simply find a fan to purchase. Please take the time to measure out the size of this fan as the photos that are listed for this product are very misleading. I would not use this fan to cool a kitchen as it is slightly larger than a coffee mug. Also the ice tray in the rear does not fit ANY size ice cubes. You will have to have the ice crushed prior to adding to the rear and there literally is NOOO space in the back for water/ice.TL;DR- too expensive for what this product is/what you get- seller is unresponsive- ice cubes have to be crushed, making the ice melt faster, giving you less cool air- cheap materials on product- fan is loud

Not worth a nickel!
First of all, this fan is TINY - a cube about 4 1/2 inches per side. The fan is quiet, but the air flow only reaches about 2 feet in front of the fan, and it produces a very narrow channel of air - you basically have to be sitting directly in front of the fan to feel anything. The compartment to hold ice is very small and shallow - maybe 1/2 an inch deep. It would take crushed ice, but not cubes. So I added ice and water as directed and set the fan up on my desk. If you hold the fan a couple of inches from your face or hand, it does seem to cool the air by 2 or 3 degrees F. But if you're sitting a normal distance from the fan, it basically does nothing at all. I'm a lot cooler just having regular fan blowing on me. I might try putting a bowl of ice in front of my regular fan.
