Very useful product for removable secondary coat!
I bought this Glossifier alongside two black Plasti-Dip spray cans and I was pleased with the result! Worked lovely and made the black look a whole lot cooler. Before hand, the black Plasti-Dip on my 2013 Honda Civic Coupe looked like it was matte black. Added the Glossifier and was pleased to see it was a nice shiny colour!I personally used the Glossifier as a secondary coat so I wouldn't know how the product would work alone. Of course, since it is Plasit-Dip, applying a few coats and letting it dry will give you the option to just simply tear it right off if you are displeased. In my honest opinion, I'd use it as a secondary coat over another Plasti-Dip coat to make the paint more "glossy", but the choice is up to you. The power of Plasti-Dip is as powerful as your creativity. It is your paint brush, and your car is your canvas.NOTE: I used the car as an example for that last line, but you can pretty much paint anything and still be able to remove it off! However due my knowledge, it works on metals and wood, but not Styrofoam! You'll love this product for you next DIY project! And I highly recommend buying some other colours to tag along with this. Unless you just need this paint, then feel free to just buy this one!

Works as advertised!
Easy to apply, follow the directions. If you are adept at spray paint from aerosol cans, this is what you want on those custom projects you may have! Plasti Dip has been around, and I like their products. Works as advertised. Provides a Gloss finish on your base paint color.

Hidden secrets of the glossifier
Painting is an art of itself, not everyone was born to do good painting. Next, the medium used to do the painting is also another art of itself, spray can are not for everyone. Next, the type of paint can also make a huge different, so not every type of paint technology can be used the same way to produce the same results. Plasti Dip is a thick rubberized paint that is very different then traditional spray paint, it is very sensitive to the weather, I would not recommend using it on temperatures below 65 degrees. With all that being said, this is the Glossifier, it not only add shine to the color, but it also add a finishing layer to the regular flat black, it seals it. Just like with all other Plasti Dip product, this works best if you paint with with constant pressure and slow continuous strokes, to make a thick coating, make it almost run to get the best results. I found that plastic dip color paint and metalizers tend to create texture finish instead of a smooth surface, the glossifier helps to smooth the finish. So the glossifier does a lot of things to the process, it serves different purposes. Recommended but you got to play with this stuff until you learn how to use it to get the best results.

Love plasti dip
adds a nice gloss finish to you're plasti dip projects . I can't say to much on this as I havnt used it yet it's still in the case I bought a 6 pack so no lose can rolling in a box or spraying inside they came all nice and tight in the box . Will use on rims most likely . I've used the white before and it came out ok but it had a few blemishes that i didn't likes so I peeled it off And surprise it pulls straight off . Now it wasn't a whole simple one tab pull everything off it was in pieces but it did all come off with no lasting effect on the rim . Heard gloss will help even out some blemishes and I wana do black any ways

Happy with the results!
I only put 2 coats of this over top of the black plastidip, I did 6 coats of that. I like it glossy. However, 2 coats I was content with. Just an ever so slight sheen that reflects at the right angle. Add a lot more coats if you want a prominent gloss. It will not come close to the gloss of clearcoat. But it adds extra protection which is important for plastidip.

Plastidip Glossifier
Husband ReviewPurchased plastidip black and this glossifier. Without the glossifier does look very flat. The glossifier definitely adds a "satin" appearance even with 4 coats. Do your research before trying to dip..it definitely doesn't go on like paint. Technic is key on spraying heavy coats even. I would use this glossifier next time for sure. "Fake" no its more the way you apply is what causes the milk look. Thanks!

Needs to apply multiple times to work
I got a Honda Fit 2011 white. For the price, this is pretty good.I've been trying to correct the scratches that I got while driving. After adding the primer and paint corrector, it's time for the gloss. The product is easy to use but it doesn't shine right away. You need to put it multiple times to get the shine that you want.
