Bauerfeind’s GloboPed Heel Relief Shoe helps the heel recover faster after injuries and post surgical foot conditions by removing pressure from the heel and providing unparalleled stabilization. Ideal for treating diabetic and neuropathic heel ulcers, as well as various other heel injuries and post surgical heel conditions, the GloboPed Heel Relief Shoe helps get individuals back on their feet with no pain. The GloboPed features a removed sole from underneath the heel to eliminate stress when the foot makes contact with the ground to allow users to walk comfortably post-surgery or injury. The orthosis comfortably surrounds the ankle to give the foot greater stability and relief with each step. Unlike many other orthotic shoes, the Bauerfeind GloboPed Heel Relief Shoe has no interior stitching that can irritate the foot to provide a comfortable experience. Two (2) easy-to-close straps provide users with an optimal fit, while the seamless inner lining provides comfortable support. By reducing recovery time and promoting faster healing, the GloboPed Heel Relief Shoe is the best support to wear after any heel injury or surgery.

Overpriced; ineffective.
Very disappointing product based on its price. Despite having 4 velcro straps, I could not achieve a snug fit. It did not adequately shift the weight from my heel. After just a little walking I developed pain in the arch of my foot. Even though an Extra Large, the toes of my size 14 foot hung out by a half-inch. Compared with a similar product from Darco sold on Amazon for about $25, this Globoped product is significantly poorer in design and quality. Watch my video.

Lasted about a week
I got two of these for my father who has a sore on each heel. I thought it was just like the ones we got at the Dr's office, but the quality was lower. f After about a week, the back part of the shoe broke and then it became uncomfortable to wear. I used some glue to put it back together but don't expect for $60 that it would need repair in a week. Not something I can recommend and the whole purpose is to protect the heel, but the poor workmanship means it creates more heel prolems.

Great on the back, not so excellent on bottom (Plantar Fasciia)
The open back is great for heel pain, however, for full heel pain on bottom of heel, in combination of Plantar Fasciitis the design could be better- the back edge of this digs right into the area where PF attaches to the heelbone, so there's too much pressure there. This would be really good for back of the heel issues. I also am a very extreme case- 12 yrs of severe debilitation PF & no heel fat pad syndrome.

Works very well
These were for my mom to wear while walking as she developed a pressure blister on her heel after falling and breaking her hip. They are working beautifully and the cost was good

Gave me my life back!
This bootie has been a life changer for me! I had some plantars warts on my heel that became ulcerated and it was VERY painful to put any weight on my heel. I couldn't walk or be on my feet for more than a few minutes. This completely alleviates any pressure on your heel. It is EXACTLY what I was hoping it would be! I can walk again and stand for hours (if need be). My only regret is that I didn't but this sooner!

Great for protecting a heel ulcer
The shoe was used in a rehab facility to relieve pressure where a heel eschar had formed from being in bed mostly for 2 weeks post op open heart surgery with leg-foot ischemia complications. It is perfect for relieving the pressure in the heel area while allowing for weight on the foot for physical therapy.

Excellent
This boot helped greatly in the healing of a pressure wound on my husband's heel. I would recommend to anyone suffering from any type of wound on their heal. Great fit.
