Great Product - Better Than Expected
Delighted with it, using the magnetic contact option on a driveway gate to transmit alert signal 200 feet to indoor receiver when the gate is opened. Easy to set up and synch the transmitter and the receiver, and select audio choice and volume, as long as you carefully follow the step-by-step, excellent instructions. Even though the product description and instructions specify no greater than a 1/2 inch gap tolerance for the magnetic contacts, the magnet furnished with it will handle a tolerance of 1 inch, and you can get another 1/2 -3/4 inch with a slighter larger and more powerful bar magnet from ACE. The extra gap tolerance is essential for an outside driveway gate like mine, where, unlike using it on house door or window, you need more gap tolerance due to seasonal movement, sag of the gate, etc.

Works great
Using the button as a door bell and the motion sensor they sell as a driveway alarm. Working great! Have not had any issues with the setup. I just need to remember to replace the batteries every once in awhile.

Awesome range!!
I got this for my parents to use as an alert for the mailbox. They live on a farm and the mailbox is a quarter mile from the house. This was simple to set up and now when the mail lady opens the box to deliver the mail my parents get a ding-dong in the house to let them know the mail has arrived. It makes their life a little simpler because now they know exactly when the mail arrives. No more walking to the end of the lane to check for the mail only to find it has not arrived yet.

Mounting options have not been thought through.
The good: I installed the transmitter on my mailbox, and was able to receive the signal through trees, a fence, my neighbors house, and the wall of my house 150 yards away. The bad: the mounting options for the transmitter and receiver have not been thought through.I connected a reed switch in the mailbox and wired it to the NC connections of the transmitter. I mounted a magnet to the door of the mailbox.I first attempted to mount the transmitter on the bottom of my metal mailbox flush against the bottom, the way it would be mounted if you used the included mount. While I could see the blue LED in the button lighting up on the transmitter, the receiver got nothing.I 3D printed a new mount that held the transmitter at a 40 degree angle to the bottom of the mailbox, effectively moving the antenna bout 1.5" from the metal of the mailbox. This new design worked.Mounting the receiver had its own problems. the screw slots on the back look like they are designed for pan head screws, but no pan head screw will fit in that slot as the head is too thick. The only type of screw that will fit is a flat head screw. For some reason, they chose to put the power connection on the bottom of the receiver, rather than the back. This means that one can not conceal the wires when mounting the receiver. One would want to mount this high on a wall, like a doorbell, but unfortunately, the power cable is not long enough to reach from a wall outlet near the floor.I am happy that I was able to get this to work, but not happy about how it looks.

Door sensor does not work.
Bought for the workplace since we have an entrance that’s on the other side of our 8000 square foot warehouse. The doorbell works fine but the door sensor does not work at all. A little disappointing.

Great product, especially if you have driveway monitor.
Very reliable. Very easy to install. Perhaps slightly bulky if being used as a front door doorbell, but otherwise outstanding. Works seamlessly with my Dakota Alert driveway annunciator. Great products.
