Read this and it just may change your life forever! (Actually, it may change a few more lives than that! You know how the old saying goes about if Mama's happy....!)This little review consists of a bunch of P's: proactive, preventative, possibilities, physician. Purser, progesterone (P-4) and now, pain-free! It's possible you may be a woman like me, who listened to a beautiful blonde celebrity share her story about 8 years ago of how she overcame a myriad of health issues with the help of bio identical hormones. This was so exciting, but it was also very much GREEK to me. I silently pondered the obvious question: even if I understood this complex replacement issue, would there ever be bio-identical hormones that were safe and available for ME, the average middle class american woman?My answer came a few years later while attending an Essential Oils convention in Salt Lake City, a very funny, very like-able, dear and wise man took the stage to discuss this issue and share his discoveries. That man is now someone every person who has ever met him calls: "friend" also known by men and women alike as a mighty man of Valor, Dr. Dan Purser. He had funny props and language, but what he delivered was dead serious, HOPE & ANSWERS! Testing was offered but the list of signs that indicated a hormone imbalance read like a list of female topics up for discussion on The View! For me? It was 20 years of migraines & 20 years of TMJ. My life as a teacher, professional singer, counselor and overall "vocal overdoer" was filled with lot of debilitating and excruciating pain. For one precious friend, it was Endometriosis. For others it was depression, insomnia. hot flashes and brain fog, M.S. hair loss. and other painful issues and disfunction.This book lays it out plainly. This is a man who believes in getting to root issues, like a detective! He discovered that most of us are just terribly deficient in safe, natural Progesterone (P4). In "Progesterone, A Woman's ultimate Feel Good Hormone" Dr. Purser steers through the medical jargon and uses clear concise terms to explain the critical differences between natural and artificial progesterone for the reader by clarifying distinctions, discussing usage and detailing the ridiculously fabulous plethora of results, many of which were far beyond my wildest dreams as positive "side benefits"!I personally use a progesterone product made with brilliant carrier oils (precious therapeutic grade essential oils) that usher natural P-4 right through skin into my blood stream. My personal results are stunning: no more migraines, and no more TMJ running my life! Since I purchased my first bottle at convention in June of 2010. Really enjoyed this book. It’s a short read, but chalk full of helpful information. Easy to find an even share with your doctor.

I will admit, I downloaded this book because I look for all the free education I can get! However, after reading this book I was AMAZED at how little I knew about Progesterone and what amazing things it can do for women. I think so many women are told to "Suck it up" "Deal with it" Everyone goes through that" or my pet peeve phrase of "That time of the month". It's almost being labeled in a group when really it is so much more than that. There is a better way to live and it is so refreshing to read that each woman is different and these emotions and hormones are real. I'm very happy to be learning of all this so I can help educate my family. I know first hand from being on YAZ what it did to my body over 10 years. There are lots of girls in my family and knowing now what I didn't know then-I am so happy to pass this information and this book on! I have a mom going through menopause and I can't tell you how much research I have done to help her get through this (not to mention I make her rub VALOR on her wrists and inhale everyday to help keep her sanity!)-THANK YOU for sharing this book. I am not a doctor, not even close, but I was so happy to read a book with this in depth education that I understood! I would definately recommend this book :)

While the information in this book is extremely helpful for hormone balance, this version is very poor. It reads more like a rough draft. I doubt this is the version of the book that Dr. Purser intended to be printed and sold.

Besides the cost of this book being less than a copay, what I love about this book is that it is a book for the patient AND the doctor. I can take this book to my general practice MD/DO and know that he/she will order the proper test(s) and effectively prescribe exactly what is needed even if hormones aren't their specialty.Thank you Dr. Dan Purser, MD for sharing your knowledge in a way that is understandable for the layperson, potentially helping hundreds of families. And for adding a bit of underlying humor laced throughout. I was fortunate to have attended one of your lectures and am grateful to now have some of what you said in a form that my doctor will trust and understand.The formatting is a bit bothersome (but I understand if this is your first book converted to an ereader) however, the content and ease of being able to understand it, far outweighs the formatting issue.

I will never buy another book written by Dr. Dan Purser MD.This book is overly simplified and has very little information about the biology of Progesterone. This book just promotes various forms of Progesterone and never really teaches about the physiology or systemic effects of Progesterone.This is the second book I have of Dr. Dan Pursers (The 85% Solution). Very dangerous logical errors in this book (The 85% Solution) and many dangerously written protocols to follow. I feel he will never contribute a good book to the medical community unless he really takes these book serious and stops pumping out a crap load of terrible books for the Financial gains. If I were him I'd recall all the books he has written and have everything refunded while promoting a better product from a responsible medical writer.I would never trust this doctor based on his writing and his youtube channel. He is incapable of relaying information in writing so I couldn't trust him to manage my medical records.
