Why does this only list eleven of the thriteen jags sizes? What is missing? Please let me know.

Yeah it's kind of funny how they do that...I personally only use three of them, so the set wasn't that great of a deal. If you need to use 4 or more of them, it's cheaper to get the set, otherwise, alcarte is the way to go (unless you want the case). Will the '35/9mm' jag work with a .357 Magnum/.38 Special/.380?

I have a .357 Magnum revolver and two .380 Auto pistols, and use that jag for them. The .380 Auto is also know as a 9mm Kurz, as it is essentially a short ("kurz" in German) 9mm round.

What one size will work best in a 30-30, 30-06, and 270 ?

This is a very good item for the price.30-30 & 30-06 are both .308 diameter bores the .270 bore is .277.I looked at the jag set and it will do what you want.

The box with my Tipton 13 piece brass jag set says made in China for Battenfield Technologies, who manufactures Tipton products.

Handy set. Much much cheaper than buying individual jags for each calibre. American style threads tho, not parker hale style. I had both thankfully.
