A lot of people use this as an exfoliant, so yes, that's totally acceptable. I'd give this 10-15 minutes before moisturizing, or at least let it dry completely.

No, its just the container with all the pads inside

Q: Does it take off makeup

I've used them to remove makeup on ocassion instead of micellar water. I swipe as much makeup off as I can then wash my face as normal. I wear lightweight makeup, though. Might not be effective for long wear or waterproof makeup.

Q: Does it remove blackheads? I have so many on my nose and it gets really oily. I live in a humid hot country.

It has a textured side which can help remove the black heads. It also helps prevent them.
