Tried this online, it comes from Bengaluru.Though I've made alternative arrangements in Hyderabad, I've recommended this to friends and they have also loved this.A little expensive for a seasoned composter, but convenient for a starter.

wonder whether it is a compost maker or just dry coco peat. As far as i know the cocopeat must be moist to keep the bacteria alive. what i received is just dry cocopeat powder.

Two words: It works! That's all that matters. We live in Kerala and have been using this for 2 years now, I order it monthly, sometimes once in two months depending on the amount of composting that needs to be done. I use it only for composting daily kitchen waste. We are a family of three. My school going kid, my wife and I. We have a vegetable garden and plants all around the house, all of which are fertilized using this compost. It takes anywhere between 3 to 6 weeks to get compost that is usable, depending on the weather. I whole heartedly recommend this product.Disclaimer: I cannot vouch for it's use in flats or apartment type set ups, since I live in a single house with a yard.

I used to use a compost making kit, which is a little labour intensive and also the compost smells a bit. I thought of trying something different and I started using the Daily Dump Compost Maker a few months ago and find it very easy to use.We consume a lot of vegetables and fruit every day and have quite a lot of organic waste. I bought a few regular plastic buckets with lids and every day I add the waste to the bucket and add a couple of handfuls of the Daily Dump compost maker and keep it tightly closed. Absolutely no smell and it decomposes quite fast without a fuss! When the bucket is full, I keep it aside for a month and it’s ready for use in the garden!I found it decomposes faster when I chop the orange and lime peels into small pieces and crush the egg shells. And I mix the compost maker in nicely and then cover it with another handful of compost maker on the top. There’s no smell at all!In the last few months, I have generated more than 10 buckets of perfect compost and even gifted it to several of my gardening friends! We took a packet of the compost maker for our roof garden. We added to fruit waste and vegetable waste sandwiched between compost maker layers. Left for 3 days and later mixed them thoroughly and started adding daily waste. We could see that there is a drastic change in the compost making process with this. We added now and then a little bit and thoroughly mixed. Over all the produce served our purpose.
