What is the diameter of the pole? Why doesn’t the description contain this important piece of information?

I have received this product in a timely manner and, since I've only used it for a couple of days, I can only say that I am satisfied so far. Using a micrometer the base pole measures 1.580 inches OD/ 1.395 inches ID. Allowing for variations in manufacturing and anticipated need for insertion, I would consider 1-5/8 inch OD/ 1-3/8 inch ID as realistic dimensions. For those using the Metric system, convert my metered measurements and draw your own conclusions. Good Luck Folks!

Hello guys. Could somebody tell what is the best base for this one?

I used a cement table and holding the umbrella was fine but it is very cheaply made and broke after opening it only a few times. I'd keep looking if I were you.

I received my umbrella but the knob on top is missing. Can this be shipped to me so i don't have to return the umbrella??

The top knob was mussing on my umbrella. It is difficult to get a hold of them…no contact info
