Is this charcoal sustainably sourced or from virgin forest? I've read their website and packaging and it doesn't say.

ALL hardwoods that are harvestable for lumber (charcoal is a secondary product for most producers) take more than a human lifetime to reach real maturity. Brazil logs virgin forest hundreds of thousands of acres per year...yay Kamado Joe!
