This is my second table top ice maker and so far this product greatly exceeds the first one. It is quieter to operate, has a larger and better insulated ice bin, makes more ice, faster and has a better shutoff and restart system. This unit is pricier but worth the extra money. I’m hoping this unit outlasts the previous.

Great ice maker. It’s a great size and fits in a little nook by my oven and cabinets. Our last ice maker was noisy. Didn’t really notice til we got this one. It’s pretty quiet. The ice bin is a good size and refills quickly. Looks sleek and the nugget ice tastes great! Very functional and a great value! I would 10/10 recommend.

To avoid the problems experienced by some reviewers, the manual that came with my machine requests 6" clearance on all sides. And, no, even though it reuses the melted ice, one cannot leave the machine on for hours on end.To begin, it takes a good 15 to 30 minutes to start producing a useful amount of ice, but it does get speedier over time. However, before the display indicates a lack of water or the need to defrost the machine, one will start to hear louder noises after maybe a couple hours. This can't be great for the machine and may lead to some of the problems previously reported.So, plan ahead and get some other stuff done after turning on the machine. Remember to turn it off. I can totally live with this. I think my dentist will be much happier at my next visit. Now I just need to train the rest of the family.

The media could not be loaded. So it makes ice, quick and easy. On that front, it's great. The regular noise it makes is loud, but bearable. But when it's low on water, it makes this awful screeching. It's really quite distracting.

Really annoying when I’m trying to keep my house cool. Sending it back.Update: I received an email from the seller apologetic about the machine. They sent me a new machine so that I can give them another chance to try the ice maker. Here is my honest review.Two-three weeks in and so far, the machine has been making ice without any screeching noises. I also notice that the heat emitted from this machine’s fan is not as hot as the first machine I had (that made the screeching noise).Though the machine makes ice successfully, the ice made melts really fast if not used right away. So…when I wake up in the morning to start my day, or when I am ready to leave for work, there is no ice because it has all melted and the machine does not automatically keep making ice. I like the machine, but I do not love its programming. Overall I am happy that we have ice nuggets that are easy to chew, I just find that I have to wait a long time to be able to fill my water bottle with ice.The customer service gets 5 stars. The machine itself gets 3.5 stars. It makes chewable ice nuggets but its programming can use improvement.

It takes 15 minutes to get one cube of ice. A lot longer to get anything usable. It is noisy. The ice is barely frozen so if you don’t start using the ice immediately the cubes all stick to each other.

I love this ice machine (Very good quality), It is definitely my favorite appliance I own. I’ve had it for a few months now and it runs 24 seven and I have not had any problems with it. Also another cool feature is when the ice melts it has a sensor and it starts to make more ice. I highly recommend this ice machine if you’re looking for sonic type ice.

The setup was super simple- the machine is ready to go right out of the box! I added water and did a clean cycle first and then immediately started using. The ice production is slow at first, but once the machine gets rolling, the ice output is very good. It also can be a little noisy at first, but the noise level seems to dissipate after the first cycle. I like that the machine came with ice bags that was an added bonus. The bin inside the machine is much larger than other ice machines I’ve had in the past.Very happy with my purchase so far and would definitely recommend!
