Ok, so I didn't expect the product to work as well as it did, and I'm actually shocked because nothing I've done worked in the past, but let's get into this review....For starters, I have thick 4c hair (picture attached) and have been told by my dermatologist that I suffer from seborrheic dermatitis as well as other issues. I used everything I could think of to include the shampoos provided by the dermatologist, but it was either too drying or made the symptoms worse. I decided to start wearing wigs and have been wearing them for 3 years straight because the flakes that would fall from my scalp were too embarrassing to deal with. Also, I scratch my scalp so much that I bleed so that's a problem.So I received this product on September 25th and decided to try it out. I waited to do the review because I wanted to really see the results. I'm desperate at this point, however, I've heard some good things about the product. When I saw the consistency, I was not sold. The oil had a water-like consistency 🫠 and I just knew this wouldn't work but I gave it a chance. I am so happy I decided to use it. I had instant relief, and the flakes seemed to be minimized. I also wanted to see how long this would last but surprisingly, all of my symptoms diminished.I wish I had a better picture of my inflamed scalp, but I'm telling you, RUN, don't walk. I am finally comfortable with wearing my natural hair without the flakes or itching. Also, I used it every day for 2 weeks but I don't think I needed to. I now use it 1-2 times a week (Pics for reference).

The best oil for seb derm. This really works. Controls flares and helps with the smell associated with seb derm. Highly recommend

If you’re someone like me who has been struggling with a super flaky scalp for years, seen multiple dermatologist and tried all the products out there….buy this right now. Dermazen products have been the only thing that has helped calm my irritated and flaky scalp. I have been using this MCT scalp moisturizer and the calming serum for a few months now and I am so happy I took a chance on these products after feeling like nothing will ever help. I was so nervous because I find that oils usually irritate my scalp and make my flaking worse but it does the opposite. It does everything you want from an oil plus it is sooo soothing on my scalp. Im so happy I finally found an oil that is perfect for me. I’ll never stop buying these products. PLEASE give this a try for a few months and I promise you won’t ve disappointed.

I've been using this oil for my skin, and the results have been fantastic. The mornings upon waking up are the WORST for my itchy/flaky skin. It's helped calm my skin, significantly reducing flaking and itchiness without making the problem worse. It's gotten to the point I'm nearly sick of trying products - I've tried lotions and other oils, which sometimes help, but only temporarily as it often flares back up even worse. I still have to use it somewhat consistently but I have been able to go a few days without application and the symptoms seem to have stayed at bay, which is huge for me.I have tried it on my head and in my beard and both areas have worked. Most of the photos are of my scalp now that it has calmed down (minus the flaking in some). Before using it was inflamed, red, itchy, and flaking.One thing to note is that, since it is an oil, you’ll want to be a little careful around clothing right after using it. However, this is a small price to pay considering the relief it provides.I definitely recommend giving it a try.

I bought this item unsure if it would work because many other products said they would cure my scalp too. But after using it for 2 weeks, I've seen outstanding results. It soothes my scalp and doesn't cause any itching or irritation, and I rarely see flakes anymore. I have dreadlocks, so I don't have to wash it out and overall works great

It works. Just be mindful, of how and where you store the bottle. This oil isn’t viscous, and will leak if not in the upright position.

The Dermazen MCT oil is amazing. I suffer with seborrheic dermatitis, so I would get this white scale-like crust built up on my scalp. I have been struggling with this condition for years. I would have to wash my hair on a weekly bases to avoid it from getting too bad. The first picture shows what my scalp would look like if I waited 2 weeks to wash my hair. The 2nd picture shows what my scalp currently looks like. Its been 2 weeks since I last washed my hair after I have been using the Dermazen product. My hair still feels moisturized, not dry and brittle and although my hair is dirty my scalp looks so much better than it would normally look and it's also less irritated. The crust has decreased greatly and so has the itching. I don't know if Dermazen will cure my condition but it definitely has healed my scalp.
