The FunSealer Portable Bag Sewing Machine has truly exceeded my expectations! I initially tested it on an empty rice bag and then took on a bigger project: stitching a new fabric for my 6’ x 8’ outdoor sunshade. After more than 10 years, the original sunshade fabric needed replacing, and this machine helped me easily attach the weight pole at the bottom of the new high-density polyethylene shade material. Instead of buying a whole new sunshade (which costs well over $100), I simply replaced the fabric, saving me a lot of money while reusing my existing frame and roller, which are still in great condition.As shown in the photos, the new brown sunshade is beside my older tan one (which is also reaching the end of its lifespan). The best part? The cloth I ordered on Amazon was customizable and big enough to fit two sunshade assemblies. That is going to be my next project when the weather here in AZ gets a bit cooler.The machine itself is sturdy, feels durable in hand, and handles these heavy-duty tasks with ease. It’s also user-friendly, even for beginners, and the included thread is a nice bonus that stitches tightly and consistently. Great machine. I live on a sail boat and purchased this to make emergency repairs underway. Well I've found that it's great for projects. What you need to know. This thing sees fast very fast. Make sure you have your work lined up and ready to go. Keep your hands away from the feed. Easy to load easy to use.

I use this to sew tarps. They are thick and this machine makes it a breeze and it is fast. I tie the ends and that keeps it from unraveling and I coat the seams with rubber cement. There is nothing I don't like about this machine.

At first it was not working well. Ran a few feet and finally worked very well.

I have sewn over 4000 bags of shelled corn with this machine and haven't had one single issue, well worth the price!
