love this fly zapper, it is brilliant, you can use it as normal, put it flat against the ceiling (if you can reach) or have it stand up in its stand to attract the flies, the head of the swatter can be changed or swivelled to your liking word of advice for the faint hearted I caught one it zapped then obviously you could smell the burning of the fly, (at least you know you got it) which for me was not a problem.

Good item and does what it is supposed to. I find myself cringing when an insect is electrocuted and I don't feel good about doing it. Please buy it but only if you are OK with seeing the insects getting fried.

Somehow ended up with a huge fruit fly problem and was sick of spraying and the toxic clouds it produced only to see the buggers still flying around. After reading reviews and little success with the large static zappers I bought 2 of these and boy do they work well. With a few swipes around the fruit bowl in the kitchen the thing was sparking and sounding like something in the mad scientists lab in a horror film! The weight and the feel of it was reminiscent of playing tennis on the old Wii with the add on for the controller. Extension pole is great as is the base meaning you can leave it on in place too after you have hours of fun in the dark watching this thing spark at all the little sods it hits! The only thing about this I would warn people about is the smell when you use it on a large number of flies like I did or on a particularly large fly (as I got one of them too) as the way it works produces a lot of heat in the dead body and they do burn so you may want to open a window when using indoors and stock up on plug in freshners or whatever you prefer as that smell os real bad when you have a real problem like we had!

Unable to test as one of the items is DOA and now will need to repackage whole item and arrange a collection.There is no way to contact the seller directly to come to some arrangement like I keep the working item and bin the faulty one and get partial refund. Now I need to dig out all the packaging from the bin, arrange a collection, and return a half faulty item, then order a replacement and pray it doesn't happen again - which is why I will not take any chances and order from another supplier.Just amazes me the amount of wasted time and and money come to think of it collecting and repackaging faulty items. Because truth is it's all cheap junk anyways imported via aliexpress & alibaba etc & resold on amazon with massive markups.Anyway. Rant over. Just fed up buying junk, it turning out to be faulty junk, and then having to return the junk. Maybe one day I'll learn and go back to how I use to shop before amazon - in the shops not buying cheap junk.

Does the job but a bit awkward hence 3 stars but would still recommend, but you can smell the burning which is horrible but it gets rid of the flies which is the point

Replaced my old one for this as I liked the rotating feature and handle extension, now I can rid the mosquitoes that enter my home easily! Also effective against flies. Charge via USB which is great.

Good quality and the best part is the Turing function for killing insects on the ceiling
