Incredible results!
The product produced immediate results! From the first use my dog quit pulling. That was the goal. I have no idea how this was so effective but my pound pup could hear the hiss and my “Hey!” To get her attention, and at first it really scared her. It took awhile for her to even want to go on another walk it scared her so bad. I’m assuming there is a whistle sound besides the hiss that only she can hear. She is so obedient now that I don’t even have to take it w me on walks. I just say “Hey” to get her attention and she slows down and stays w me. I had to use it one other time when I caught her in the act of peeing in the house and she never did it again. When she tries to jump on people I can say “Hey!” And she immediately will sit and look at me like, “Don’t hiss at me I’ll be good. “

Doesn’t work
This item whispers…doesn’t give the burst of air that a corrector should. My dog, who can’t stand the sound of my husband snoring basically laughed at me when I used this thing. You see, she’s a typical teen. You call her in, and she all of a sudden smells all sorts of things in the air. Usually said “things” are everywhere but where you’re calling her to go. My last air corrector was so good that I just had to pull it out and she’d come running to me. This one?! It was more like a “puff” of air. Like blowing your hair off your eyebrow sort of sound. An air corrector should “pssssst” in the most aggressive way you can imagine.Save your money…this thing sucks.

Works for other dogs
I give 5 because it works for my friend’s dog and it worked for the first three times I used it. However, my dog is especially stubborn and once she figured out normal correction followed the sound and she stopped being startled/distracted by it, she quit caring.

My flabber is ghasted
This was recommended by my trainer for my reactive German Shepherd, who also walked me through how to use it effectively. He let me borrow his and we did a session working with Diogi wanting to bark at other dogs. He hasn’t barked at another dog in 5 days. My own arrived yesterday and i immediately started working on his ankle biting. I used it twice and he hasn’t nipped me in two days. Either my dog is super smart (bets are still out) or this thing, used properly, really works. It is not loud or intrusive in public, carries well in my pocket, and appears to be well made. Canisters are easy to install and replace.

POOR Product -Exploded!! Poor Customer Service!
Although this training device was easy to use and VERY effective, it lasted less than 2 weeks with ZERO response from the manufacturer. My device worked well at first. My bulldog responded immediately to the action. I went to change the empty cartridge and it literally exploded off the back of the head! I thought it might be a detective cartridge so attempted to change and it immediately discharged the CO2. Hubby tried a third time and same thing. The nozzle was ICE cold. We truly believe the nozzle pin is defective. I attempted to go back into my orders and return it, but there was no option for this product to return, but did offer " customer support". I did an online chat with Amazon rep who sent me a link to the manufacturer to describe the problem which I did. I was told by Amazon that I should hear directly from the company within 5-7 business days, which I did not. Now I called Amazon customer service and spoke with a live rep who immediately refunded my purchase. I will not buy this product again. After so many bad reviews of the durability and reliability of this product, it is not worth the money. Pet Stores sell small cans of compressed air which works just as well, longer uses, and easy to carry. Don't waste your money!!!

Simple yet very effective
When I received this, I couldn't believe how simple a device this is. It's simply a vinyl bicycle handle cover over a 16 oz Co2 cartridge attached to a trigger nozzle. That being said, sometimes less is better, and in this case, the Pet Convincer 2 does well.My dogs will never completely stop barking, and I don't want them to. However, when they start going off on every little thing walking by (especially when I'm on the phone) a whoosh of air does a nice job of getting their attention and stopping their run-on barking. Especially my youngest dog. I've also found this effective when my dogs are pulling too hard on their leashes, and aren't listening to my commands to come, as well as successfully curbing their excitement barking at feeding time.Overall, despite the very simple design, I am pleased. It's helped me in training my dogs with better behavior, and is easier to correct and reward them when they respond to the Convincer 2. It would be nice if the Co2 lasted longer, but the 16 oz bottles can be found at any bike shop. As I mentioned, the very basic build of this doesn't actually warrant the cost, although you can argue the price of this is less than most of the ultra-sonic tools, and in my opinion, this one is much more effective.1 star off for the construction, but all in all, not bad, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anybody with a stubborn pup.

PLEASE CONSIDER COMPRESSED AIR BEFORE ANY SHOCK COLLAR!!!!!! I would even encourage you to buy the disposable compressed air at Petco/PetSmart to see if this is the route you want to go before a shock collar. The disposable canister is around 20 dollars and will last you about two weeks. We decided to use air training for our dog instead of a shock collar, and although he's far from perfect he's made strides on his training with this tool. He's reactive/skittish so this tool was perfect for correcting some behaviors, or getting his attention. To be honest this particular tool is meh at best. The CO2 cartridges they use only last about a week, but they sell them in a 10 pack so quantity over quality. The warranty is also voided if you use a different cartridge than their own brand FYI. Although this particular item isn't the best, I do love the peace of mind I get knowing that I can be back in control of outings with my pup.
