Works very well when it is fastened tight enough. The clear gaskets look great but they are a bit stiff so you need to tighten the fastening nut very tight to compress them enough to prevent leaks.

Works Great Again
This was a replacement for a 6 year old spigot on our porcelain water tank.2 things to know when replacing the spigot.1. Be sure to tighten the daylights out of it. When you think it is tight, go another 1/2 or 3/4 tightening. Otherwise, you may notice a little leakage.2. The water flow is slightly less than the previous spigot. This may increase as time goes on but the flow is definitely less than the previous one.All in all, $8.00 to have our water jug functional again was quite a bargain.
