Airfix always make great models. And this is no exception. It is well made, the parts easy to assembleThe whole thing is Fun to make.The plane an important part of history.

These New Airfix kits are really nice, the fit of the parts is really good. Do take a bit of care with the cockpit sidewalls ,the cockpit itself is nicely detailed, with decals for the instrumentation although no pilot is supplied. Don't forget to open the underfuselage holes for the belly tank(like I did). Be careful separating the undercarriage parts from the sprues as some of the pieces are quite delicate, they are, however, sturdy enough to support the airframe. The whole airframe goes together quite nicely, with minimal use of filler, but be careful with aligning the tail planes.Two colour schemes are provided for and there is a separate guide showing the position of the stencilling.I gave this five stars because I enjoyed the building of this kit and I am pleased with the end result.

My son is at an age where he wants clothes or money for Christmas and this year he wanted something he could open and create. Some kits come with paint but some don't so be careful when choosing! Luckily he had other kits that did have paint he could use.He found them really rewarding to make. They can be a bit fiddly but if you're creative and good at making things this shouldn't present a problem.

Airfix box arrived with no protective packing and address labels stuck on the box itself, the box was also slightly crushed and had a tear on it. This was not because of the delivery driver but because theitem had not been packed properly.The model was for a present and not cheap so I would think twice before ordering any similar items again.

Quite a good kit general fit of parts is good apart from the two fuselage halves which did not fit together that well and some filler was required as was the wing to fuselage assembly which again was a poor fit and required filler.The instruction sheet is very good and assembly is easy to follow the decals provided with the kit are very high quality.
