Decent Product--Does the Job
This was actually my second choice. My doctor recommended a different brand, but it was missized -- smaller than it should have been. I then looked for something with the same characteristics, and came upon this one. I'm very happy that I did. Besides actually fitting (I have a very large hand, and the large size fits like a glove--pun intended), this is surprisingly comfortable. It is soft where it should be (most of it) and stiff where it should be (the 2 aluminum strips). It is very adjustable and seemingly well-made (it's still pretty new, so we'll see how it holds up). It also seems to actually work. It keeps my thumb pretty much immobilized, which is the point (osteoarthritis of the lower thumb joint). Also, unlike different types of braces I've tried, it doesn't seem to cause more harm than good. Finally, it's pretty inexpensive. For now, at least, I'm a happy camper.

Exactly What I Needed
This brace is exactly what I was looking for to help manage the pain in my thumb and wrist. I wear it mostly at night and the support is first rate. It's not too tight or too loose and it's fully adjustable. Very pleased with the quality and glad I bought it!

Comfortable in most areas
I really like this brace. It is very supportive and comfortable. I did have to put some cotton padding under the strap that goes across the webbing of my thumb, but this is much more comfortable than any other brace I've tried, including a custom brace made by my physical therapist. Highly recommend.

Functional and comfortable
I have arthritis which has been giving me a lot of issues with my wrist/thumb. I’ve tried several braces which I wear while sleeping and when I can during the day. This one is the best I’ve tried. It fits well, adjusts, holds my wrist and thumb straight and doesn’t come undone or scratch and snag fabric or sheets. I wash it on gentle in the machine in a mesh bag and hang to dry. It dries pretty quickly and is not fraying.

Protection, stability, & support for thumb & wrist
I am suffering from De Quervain's tenosynovitis & the ailment has developed into a painful problem that affects my wrist & forearm. I had a general spica from the doctor’s but to didn’t provide any support to stabilize my wrist. Upon arrival I put this brace on & felt instant relief. The thumb support & wrist stability is definitely needed. I wish I would have purchased this product when I was first diagnosed with DQT but I didn’t & have been suffering for a few months now. Hopefully once I get surgery this brace will continue to provide protection, & support for my thumb & wrist.

It does what it supose to
I got it in a reasonable time frame. I just had wrist surgery and this is the same type brace they wanted to put me in but it cost me 200.00 for that one . This one does the job it needs to very well . Keeps me from moving what I should not and protecting it. Very happy with it

Gives good support
It gives great wrist and thumb support. However, the hard plastic piece for the thumb hurts after a while. I ended up getting a blister from it. I might look for one without that hard piece, but still gives good thumb and wrist support.

Good splints but not for De Quervain Tenosynovitis
I can’t speak on anyone else but me because everyone’s body is different and handle equipment differently.I purchased both the left and right splints for DQT. I’ll say they’re easy to put on and adjust. The Velcro around the thumb is such as pain because it cashes on objects and fingers undone. To get my thumb completely stabilized I have to pull the Velcro so tight to where it overlaps. the splints help to stabilize the wrist and sort of the thumb because somehow I still find myself injuring my thumb which ends up causing my wrist to hurt. I get no stabilization on my thumb at all. I still injure it somehow. The metal rod that runs on the side of the thumbs rub up against my wrist bone right where the tendons sit and cause so much discomfort. If I wear them I can only do so for short period of time. Sleeping in them is a headache because of how uncomfortable I am in them. I’ve tried to adjust the brace on my wrist where the metal rods aren’t rubbing against my bone but it finds it way back onto that tendon. When you sweat, it smells. I’ve had to wash my braces actually few times and I purchased these a month ago. Honestly, I get minimal relief in pain because I still find myself hurting my wrist and thumb while wearing the splints. The popping and locking of the thumb stops when wearing them which is great but don’t expect for total pain relief if you have pain as bad as I do.
