Worth the purchase
This is an awesome umbrella big enough for 2 people and very sturdy. Love the color and how it folds down. This will last for years! Highly recommend.

Easy to carry
One of my favorite essentials to take when I go on vacation during winter and rainy time.Small enough to carry and folds to where keeps the wet part inside.I love the color, exactly what is in the picture.Easy to open and close.good quality and fabric is so thick. You still have to hold it tight during the strong wind

Worked in Scotland wind! Not 100% waterproof.
I had hoped it would live up to the wind-proof umbrella we needed. It did! Two weeks into our three week trip in Scotland, it’s been put to heavy use. The wind has been so strong at times it’s almost yanked the umbrella from my hubby’s hands, and yet it’s held up! Construction is very sturdy. One issue.. after much rain ( and there’s a lot in Scotland), the water starts to soak through and drips onto you. It hasn’t been a deal breaker yet as we still wore rain jackets and waterproof snowboarding pants. We plan to spray it with a waterproofing agent when we get home to extend the use. Our regular compact or golf umbrellas would have NEVER stood up to the wind beating in Scotland. So, giving it a 4 star for the lack of full waterproofing. Opens and closes well. Decent size for two thinnish people. Don’t miss the cemetery in Stirling, Scotland if you are visiting. Lovely views of the castle.

It has all you need
This is my fourth time buying this umbrella, and not because it broke but because I gave one to my daughter. I love this umbrella, just press one button to open and close, the inverted system lets the water drip directly to the floor so you shake off the excess of water. The quality is outstanding. I have four and not one broke ever.

Best reverse close umbrella I've found
After first purchasing a reverse close umbrella a few years ago it's the only kind I will buy (for actual rain and not sun). The amount of mess/wetness all over everything in the car is substantially less - like 85 or 90 percent less - than what a regular umbrella leaves everywhere. I've so far only found 2 (well-known) brands that I've purchased. Both of which I like, but there is room for improvement. One Brand's stick umbrella has lasted about 18 months (with more than just one purchased) before the tips started falling off the pointed ends making it eventually unusable. The other brand has a more compact version that is similar to the way this umbrella works, and they have held up BUT this umbrella is both auto open and close - the other only auto open - and is only available with the smaller canopy and is much less sturdy feeling than this umbrella. I've so far only used this umbrella one time, so we'll see how it holds up but I'm highly impressed with the first use. Oh and the other brands BOTH cost more than the larger version of this umbrella.

What a great little umbrella!
What a great little umbrella! It's bigger than you think for the size that it is! It's travel size, but with a full size canopy when you go to use it! When you close it it doesn't dump water on you. I absolutely love this little umbrella! Buy one and take an on vacation! Buy another one and keep it in the car! Buy another one and give it as a gift! This thing is impressive for just being a little travel umbrella!

Flimsy and feels low quality. Inverted design isn't as beneficial as advertised.
Summary: This umbrella feels flimsy, is difficult to use one-handed, and lacks venting which leads to it being pulled around by the wind.I got this umbrella thinking that the inverted design looked interesting and potentially useful. The umbrella wasn't packaged in a box or anything protective on the outside other than a simple plastic wrap around the upper part and a single layer of bubble wrap around the handle, which was then dropped into an Amazon plastic bag for delivery. The mechanism is snappy and very quick, and the diameter of the canopy leads to excellent coverage. The umbrella is compact when folded, and lightweight. Unfortunately, that's all the good things I have to say about it.The handle is undersized for the size and construction of the umbrella and it puts stress on your wrist to hold it. The button is extremely stiff and requires significant force to activate. I don't have any serious hand dexterity problems but I still struggled to open it one-handed.Literally my first time using it, a light wind caused the whole outer section of the umbrella to fold back. I can only assume that this is due to a combination of the inverted design and the lack of venting. When open, the whole umbrella feels flimsy and cheap. There's a lot of rotational slop in the shaft and it doesn't feel even remotely solid. The material of the canopy is very thin and I noticed damp spots appearing on the underside after just a brief walk across a parking lot in the rain. The inverted design looks compelling on paper, but I found it inconvenient in the car. The edge of the umbrella gets caught on the underside of the car door jamb when I open the door and try to hold it up and open it before I get out. I'd probably get used to this with time, but it just isn't as intuitive as a standard umbrella.Overall, for $30, I would pass on this.
