Yes it is, I've used it while sitting in a chair, on the sofa and also while lying down in bed. It was good in all three places. It was also good holding a Stephen King book which over a thousand pages long and also a smaller book. I hope this helps.

I’ve order 4. Brown, blue, green, purple. Didn’t see any difference in size but I guess I never read “size”before ordering. Think I order from same place. Hope this helps.
