Q: do theses work for male dogs that lift leg

I have a small dog that still lifts his leg if there are certain things on the floor like boxes or garbage bags. It doesn't matter if there is a pad on the floor or not, he will still lift his leg. I just try and keep those things off the floor. I think it is hard to stop a leg lifter once they have started...but I think it's worth a try, especially if he hasn't been lifting that long. These are good pads, and maybe he will take to using them. Good luck!

Q: I actually need these for a senior cat who has trouble hitting the litter box. Is the "attractant" off-putting to cats?
