After you have taken your clock out of the box and plugged it in, press and hold the SETUP button (located on the bottom of the back panel) for 2 seconds and YEAR will start flashing on the screen, now you can start setting the time on your product.

The Sound Rise II does save your settings during a power failure, but not through a built-in battery, but through smart hardware design. This means it will save your settings for 2 weeks and you won't have to worry about changing the battery.

It is true that the Sound Rise II supports progressive volume on the alarm sound. When the alarm goes off, the volume will gradually increase from level 0 to the preset maximum volume over a period of 60 seconds.

The alarm tone includes Bluetooth, FM radio, and the built-in chime, but not the AUX IN. However, there is an AUX IN jack that you can use to play music from your non-Bluetooth devices, such as MP3 players or smartphones, using a 3.5 mm audio cable.
