I don't know what is better, the product or the customer service! The kit comes with 12 fossils individually packaged with an information card for that fossil. You will also received a very informative geological time scale and a booklet with information about the fossils. I purchased this for my in-home preschool when our theme of the week was fossils. The children absolutely loved handling them and learning about them. When I opened the kit and went through the fossils, I discovered that one was missing. The package and card was there, just not the fossil. I contacted the company via email asking if it were possible to receive a replacement one. The only question asked was for my shipping address. I RECEIVED THE FOSSIL THE VERY NEXT DAY - a Saturday, even. Granted, I live in Oregon and the company is in Oregon just north of me, but I did not expect to see it that fast. It's a very fun purchase, and not only did my preschool children love it, all adults and my own older children loved handling and reading all of the facts. If you're on the fence about purchasing, just go for it. The one thing is really, REALLY wanted was a fish fossil, but I didn't receive that one in my kit. Regardless, all of them were intact and easily identifiable, and the information cards and booklet were fun to read and learn from. 5 stars all around!

I purchased these for my 10 year old grandson who is a fossil expert. He loved this box of fossils! It was quite awesome the way they put this together. Every fossil was in a zip top bag with a card printed with a picture of and information about that fossil. I’m not sure exactly how many fossils were included, but it was several. They were all in great condition. There was also a small book/pamphlet with information as well. We were very happy with this purchase.

Most items found in the kit were common. 10 year old enjoyed looking at each thing and reading about it.

My 5 year old granddaughter loved these fossils. She’s really into hunting for fossils and Dino bones. This set of fossils is perfect for young school age children to help them learn!

Interesting and curious items with wonderful teaching aids

This kit is incredible! We used for our fossil study for homeschool and it inspired a TON of inspiration among my kiddos! We found multiple ways to use it and the cards are a beautiful addition! Easy for my kids to read and great for matching up with the fossils after excavating them from kinetic sand! I feel this kit is a much better value over its competitors that come in excavation kits! Beautiful quality fossils!!

I like the individual packaging and description for each fossil. I was surprised at how many different types were in the box. A great variety! Very pleased with this purchase and will use his site in the future.
