The answer to all my perioral dermatitis problems.
This product, when combined with the vanicream face wash, cleared my perioral dermatitis in 4 days. I spent more than a year in and out of dermatologist's office and getting tested for allergies. Literally nothing helped. Well, corticosteroids did but they damage your skin and as soon as you stop it comes back worse.I finally found a esuper detailed post about Malassezia / fungal acne on reddit that said bacteria and fungus can feed on the lipids that are common in almost all moisturizers. I don't know how it relates but switching out ALL my face products, for ones like this that are mallesszia-safe on, solved the problem. Also, if you are wondering if this will be moisturizing enough, I have really dry skin that is prone to allergy and eczema. I was worried this would not be nearly enough hydration. But it is. t is light and has a weird, mucous consistency (I know that sounds gross but I don't know how else to describe it) and it feels like nothing going on. But my skin is so happy and not dry at all. No breakouts, no dermatitis, not even any acne.

The best isn't always the expensive one
Found my holy grail. Tried a bunch of products over the years, this one is extremely simple and very effective. You feel it's moisturizing prowess immediately. Very light gel and you don't need that much. It's my first experience with gel as well and it's much less irritating than cream since it just slides over your face rather than you having to smear it in.It's often only $12-15 which is very cheap.Note, I have very sensitive skin, T zone, combination skin. I use this with Fresh Soy cleanser and haruharu spf. Anything more is is just more irritation, and basically have clear skin with occasional white heads.

Took me 60 years to find!
I just turned 60 yrs old and apparently it’s taken me all of those years to find a product that does not cause me to breakout on my chin. I’ve gone completely to “gel” moisturizers for my skin to be clear. I like this gel for a daily moisturizer and turned to this brand for its reputation. It feels clean going on, no heavy cream like residue and blends easily. I will definitely purchase again. Has worked wonders for me!!!!UPDATE: After about 6 months, still using this product with no breakouts!!! Saw a review regarding “stickiness” but I think someone may be using too much. You only need a little bit. It goes a long way. Of course you should expect some kind of residue before blending in. But it blends in well and feels hydrating to your skin. I will still suggest to purchase.

Lightweight, moisturizing... more comfortable than ointment...
My dermatologist suggested this or the ointment for my severely dehydrated skin, and got both to try, and while both are really good products, I prefer the feel of this. The gel feels like it soaks into my skin, and genuinely moisturizes it, as opposed to sitting on top of it like a thick barrier.A little goes a long way, and it feels so soft and gentle as I lightly massage it in to my skin -- and ever so important, in just one week I am seeing improvement in my skin.

A nice moisturizer!
This is very light, greaseless, and smooth. It has no scent, but feels great and hydrating on the face.It is clear, and appropriately priced.

10/10 - Definitely Recommend
The media could not be loaded. So refreshing. Felt like I was giving my face a drink of straight HYDRATION!!!I’m about to be 40 so I’ve really been feeling the “push” to get a good skin care routine figured out… But once I started using all the new stuff my face started getting really dry and I couldn’t seem to find a moisturizer that actually gave me the “feeling” I was looking for - I’d thought all ‘really good’ moisturizers were super thick and creamy - and I’d tried several but my face felt greasy and ‘covered up’ (not sure that’s the right terminology, but my skin felt like it couldn’t breathe) annnd it was STILL THIRSTY!!!Until this…. It’s “thick and creamy” but it’s semi-transparent and more like a gel annnnnd it actually satiated my skin’s NEED for hydration. It reminds me of a more affordable version of the Tatcha Water Cream. My skin feels healthier than ever! Everyone should try this!! I’ve literally been telling all my friends about it.

Nice but not worth the price
I know it’s not a lot, but it is still more than I normally spend but I thought I’d try the nicer brand. And it is nice, but it feels pretty much the same as the comparative store brand that I buy for cheaper

My holy grail of moisturizer!
It wasn't until I have learned the phrase "fungal acne" that I realized why everything I applied on my face tends to break me out. This cetaphil moisterizer is not only FA safe, but moisturizes effectiely. There are other FA safe moisturizers on the market, but Cetaphil is affordable and widely available. The only thing I don't like about it is that it comes in a jar, and I prefer a hygenic pump dispenser. Personally I have not experienced anything like "peeling", but I don't put layers of products on my skin. There's a bit stickiness on the finger tips when the product is still wet, but once dried it's perfectly fine. You only need to apply a thin layer on your skin. If you experience extra stickiness or shine you are using too much. The container looks big but it's mostly thick glass. The actual product is only 1.7 oz by volume, about half the max-allowed airline travel size. Overall I am happy with this product. I waited several weeks before writing this review, so I know for sure it does't break me out. I hope Cetaphil will never change the formula or discontinue it.Update: 3 months later still blemish free! After consistent usage my skin is now soft and smooth. Will update further into the winter when air is much dryer.
