Great and reputable brand. This product worked great and as advertised.

I had a gasoline leak in my boat fuel tank at the fuel sensing unit despite being new with a new gasket. Gasoline fumes in a boat can be deadly, so I bought the fuel specific Permatex to resolve that issue. I was surprised to see how liquid this gasket sealant was, I was expecting more of a caulk like substance like the other Permatex gasket sealant I used in the past. I followed the instructions and thoroughly cleaned both the tank surface and the underneath of the sensing unit, let it dry a few minutes and re-installed the sensing unit. It seems to work, the strong gasoline smell is gone, the real test will be taking the boat out and see how the repair holds up when the waves move the boat aroud. Will do a follow up after wards.

Used to go around a can am atv fule hose fitting. Seemed to stop the leak temporarily until I could get it repaired.

Don't overthink it--if you're doing a gasket job and you're not a pro its going to take a bunch of time and effort. Buy this stuff so you only have to do it once. I replaced a head gasket with one off Amazon and it blew again a couple weeks later. Read a lot on forums on what do the "old pro" mechanics use and they kept mentioning this stuff. Re-did the job with this stuff and its holding up. Ended up using it for some other work too and I'm happy with it.

This is a good product to use on subaru head gaskets. Helps with over all sealing, just follow instructions and be sure to give it time to flash off before assembly
