Seagate8TB 3.5" Expansion Desktop USB 3.0 External Hard Drive

Have used these with my video editing (over 100 TB of these hard drives) along with several multi-strip powered hubs. Works well. Been using them for years.

Good product that can be used internationally

This came in handy since its time to back up my old drives before they fail. The seller was great offering assistance beyond the sale. I will definitely use them in the future.

NOT THAT ITS BAD ,,IT WILL DO THE JOB NEEDED ,,BUT NOT AS FAST AS MULTIPORTED DRIVES ,,BUT DECENT COST IN COMPARISON TO WHAT I HAD AT THE TIME

This Hard Drive has the usual Seagate reliability, but also has a massive storage capacity. I was able to put my entire iTunes library on it (over 800 movies and 1600 TV episodes, more than 2000 songs and 500 music videos) and still had 1TB of free storage space. For the price ($143), it is an awesome deal.

I brought this one. AND I'm about to buy the 20TB Seagate hard Drive too.

I bought this for a storage solution to an upcoming project so I did not use it right away. Now that I am needing it, I find that my advertised 8TB storage drive is only a 1TB drive. I have spent hours going over factory and other web sites trying to find a solution. I did all the proscribed processes and it simply comes down to they put a 1TB drive in an 8TB box/label - yet I paid the 8TB price.I am way beyond the return point for the purchase so I am basically hosed. It is my fault for waiting so long to actually use the unit, but I had no knowledge that it would be a problem as I have a 4TB version that works flawlessly.This drive is also very loud. I can hear the grinding and whirling as it tries to format the disk. My 4TB is quite as a faint whisper. Very disappointed in how this all turned out. No more Seagates for me.
