Light and Loud, Good Battery Life, Great Support
I bought this for my one-man show - I play mostly blues with guitar and backing tracks. The bluetooth streaming from my iPad and Vocal microphone channel works very well (still had another channel free). It's pretty light and the battery seems to last forever. I had some questions for Mackie, and found them easy to get a hold of and very helpful! I really think Mackie is a great all around choice with pricing fair compared to the competition. But I really liked their support. I bought another Mackie speaker (open box) that had a bad cable, and they sent me a new one quickly and at no charge. I can wholeheartedly recommend this speaker and Mackie as a company that provides real help to customers.

A must for bad backs and small rooms!
I'm on the wrong side of 50 with a balky lower back. I was really looking for something lighter than my 30.3lb QSC CP12s to be hoisting on poles and lugging at the and of the night. I play smooth jazz sax over backing tracks at cocktail hours and retirement facilities. I was never blasting the doors off with DJ volume. A pair of these has been absolutely perfect! Great, rich sound for the size and 40+% lower weight. Ample volume for the needs of most acts like mine, I would think. The battery power is probably not something I'll use much, but for those graveside memorial gigs or wedding proposals in a remote gazebo, it will be crucial. I may sell my Roland BA330 and use these instead. Bluetooth backing tracks from my iPad into one speaker, then linked cordless into the other. Just perfect. It's annoying that bluetooth connectivity BETWEEN linked speakers is limited to bluetooth inputs, but If I actually need to mic my sax, I'd be using my QSC's anyway. Bravo Mackie!

Little banger
Great product. I use this PA in many ways. It's chained in to a mixer at home for daily use and I just break it off when I need to perform in a busking atmosphere or simply bring the party. Sounds great indoors and out. I haven't run out of battery in a single session yet.Tip- when using at lower levels, I like to run a line out to a smaller speaker to catch higher frequencies. Like a mini tower system but using the 8" as a suedo-sub.

Mostly great
Great price, excellent battery life and almost excellent sound. It lacks the ability to produce low bass, which may not be an issue depending on your music preferences. I would recommend adding a separate subwoofer for best results. The only other consideration for me to take off a star is that the mic input requires a separate preamp to get any real volume out of it. I connected a mic directly to XLR input 1 (yes the mic/line button was set correctly) and then I tried input 2 and still couldn’t get much volume even with the gain turned all the way up. I was using wireless mics which may make a difference but I have used the same mics with other systems with no issues. If I use these speakers with the mics going through a mixer first, then they sound great.

Thump Go is 🔥
Best portable Bluetooth speaker I have. I have the Jbl extreme 3 and the bumpboxx flare 8. But this thump go tops it all

great price and great battery powered speaker
I got this at a really great price and it has all the power I need for performing at a nursing home. Since it's battery powered I never have to look for an AC outlet to power it up. The sound is clean and sufficiently loud for a small venue of usually around 20 people. It's light and small so set up is quick.

Not good for instrument for voice only streaming
Got this to amplify instrument and voice for outside or large inside events. The amplification for these is very weak even at max. Has good sound when using as speaker via bluetooth for your device.
