For residential probably 2 oz in a quart of water. The water activates the bio enzyme, and it will stay active for a month. After 30 days it needs to be reintroduced. It’s safe for every drain but it won’t clear a backup.

A better solution is using a product containing D-Limonene, such as natural orange or lemon oil & sprayed in bags will eliminate odors. Animals don't like the fragrance of these oils either so it helps keep them away.
