What happens when you microwave Scrub Daddy for 1 minute to kill bacteria?

I have microwaved mine numerous times for 30 seconds and had no problems. I was worried it would fall apart, but it has not. I have not tried it for 1 min, which would be better. Also, with regard to the other user's comments that microwaving is not necessary, the scrub daddy does not smell, but i think microwaving sponges is essential.

Can this be used on glass cooktops?

I have a small induction top surface unit with glass cooktop. I use it on there regularly - I do moisten the scrub daddy to make sure it is "softer." Works fine. Use it also on my stainless steel sink all the time. Awesome!

Will it work on hard water stains?

Getting hard water stains off was the reason I bought them. After watching a short infomercial, on YouTube, I thought it might be just the thing. They did nothing! I tried them warm, cold, and even stuck in the fridge as it suggests in the directions to get it as hard as possible. Nada. The only caveat I'd make to this is that, maybe, with the perfect cleaning product, it might get some off. But the infomercial says I don't have to use any cleaning product to make it work. When it comes to hard water stains, I'd look for a cleaning product rather than this as a solution.
