Stroopwafel cookies are a treat, a real "moment" whether alone or served with coffee/tea to guests. Choose your hotcups so the cookie can sit atop easily and warm a little from the heat of the drink. Probably a minute is all you need... keep checking to ensure cookie doesn't get soggy, flip to warm each side. All Stroopwafel are designed to melt the caramel inside, so the waffle-style cookie is usually crisp/hard, but since it's a waffle, the design allows the steam to do its job. Particularly nice with caramel macchiato cafe!

the seller forgot to post the ingredients--can someone kindly tell me what they are? I cannot have corn syrup, wheat glucose, soy lecithin, etc. ty

Too bad you didn't ask last week because I just recycled the tin that they come in. So I Googled them, and found this web-site . Here's the list of ingredients: 34% syrup (glucose-fructose syrup, sugar syrup), wheat flour, 14% butter (milk), sugar, vegetable oil (palm, rapeseed), soya flour, salt, emulsifier (soya lecithin), raising agent (E500), cinnamon, natural Bourbon vanilla, barn egg, acidulant (citric acid). Allergy information Contains: wheat, milk, egg, soy. Hope that this helps.

Why is this being marketed as "9 count gift tin" when the photos clearly show the tin contains 8 cookies? Is tin being counted as 1?

Sorry I have not purchased the item in the tin packaging. All my purchases of the item in question was in a soft pack variety. You may try to buy them online but there have been complaints about shipping quality and order freshness so you might be best to acquire them offline such as stores like Walmart, Stein Mart, Ross, Target besides the Amazon website. The Target and Ross stores have the product at the 4 dollar purchase price at the moment so you would be saving over 50% if you go that route. Yes, I have the same opinion as you. I have only encountered 8 pieces in a package for all the packages that I have bought but none have been of the tin variety though.

How large is the tin?  Dimensions?

It is a very small tin.  The actually cookie is so small that it falls in my coffee cup when i try to warm it.  in the past, I have placed the cookie over the coffee and it is wonderful and warm and soft.  My tin also came to me damaged which caused my cookies to be crumbled.  This item is not returnable, so I just threw the tin away.  Cookie too small and lots of broken ones.  A big disappointment
