Q: Does it give a chemical taste to the food ?

No but don’t put food on immediately. Wait a few minutes after lighting for fuel smells to burn off.

Q: How easy is this to start? Do I need anything extra to start the fire?

Very easy to use , although I think one time I had a little difficulty getting it started. Nothing else required.

Q: What kind of food is it able to do/fit? Can it cook Kabobs?

We used it to cook Brats, burgers, and steaks. I’m sure it could handle Kabobs.

Q: Can you pack this in your luggage (to take on a plane)?

This grill is not good. It wouldnt keep the flame going. Waste of money
