Good and cheap, easy to use and I like the style and shape

Works great. The programming directions are clear and concise. This is the only remote I've found that works on my ROKU player AND my JVC TV. BTW I had to use the search function to match the TV since none of the listed codes worked. It turns out my TV uses the same remote codes as some Toshiba units, but that's on JVC for not mentioning that in the instruction manual. I just ordered another...

Setup was minimal. Our TV is one that has one of this remote’s presets built in so it was actually paired and ready to work before I realized it.To know: this remote does work for Roku TV but does not work to control our Roku stick. That’s not clear in the product information which just says Roku. We need to use two remotes - the Roku stick remote to change channels and selecting services and the this remote for audio and on/off for the TV and soundbar. Reason is there is a different type of technology/signal (sorry not a techy so can’t explain more) that controls the Roku stick and that’s not compatible with the universal remote. Did a lot of researching since we learned this the hard way by many unsuccessful pairing attempts. Doesn’t seem like there are any universal remotes that can control both types of device.Gave only 4 stars instead of 5 because the product information wasn’t clear about not being able to use it on the Roku stick … otherwise great remote, working perfectly.

Works like it should! Using it with two old products. One is a very old Pioneer receiver from 1995 and second is a Philips dvd player from 2008. Remote works perfectly with both.

Did everything the directions said. It did not work. I tried the auto scan for over an hour, nothing. I also bought another remote, different brand. It came with different codes for the tv, it worked right away, so I tried the codes from the directions of the other one, and YES it works! I needed 2 remotes and was happiest with the color of this one. So I am happy with this one.

The only reason there is 1 star is because of the form factor - looks and feels good. The rest is all so not good. Here is the list of cons1- You get to program only 3 while I found another US brand with 4 devices for a $ Less2 - The buttons are easy too congested. Remote use should be a no brainer.. who will be experimenting pressing tiny cramped buttons with tiny names.3 - I replaced a Roku, TV, Audio player and Blu-ray playerwith the other remote, after I tore my hair off using this one for 3 of the 4.4 - The channel buttons are sideways instead of up and down. Why?5 - The exit or back button is very tiny and places in the what I called uptown area6 - The * button is not available7 - The home button is so high up, that lazy people like me have to use the other hand to locate it in uptown.8 - The mute is where we normally see the back button.The other remote that I got ( I guess I should not mention it here) has all of the above features right.

This remote was affordable and easy to set up. Today, November 7th, i have used it only 40 days and it only responds to volume - I could not stop streaming or turn off the tv. I had to go back to using the original tv remote.
