It made my hair gorgeous, now I’m going to have to reorder it give it a rave review!I have extremely thinning hair, and this shampoo & conditioner not only made my hair full, shiney, and gorgeous! Very little hair came out in the shower!This is the best shampoo & cond. for any hair even severely thinning

I’ve been using Virtue shampoo, conditioner and volumizing spray for about two years and can honestly say my hair has never been healthier.I’ve seen a lot of reviews complaining about the lack of lather… it’s important to know, you should be double washing. The first wash is the break down the oil, product and yuck on your scalp - rinse the hair thoroughly and shampoo, concentrating on the scalp. Rinse and shampoo again (a smaller amount). I *promise* you’ll see a huge difference in the lather.. the second shampoo, concentrate on the rest of the hair. Your hair will stay cleaner longer, smell great! And you’ll notice a difference in the health of your hair within a couple of months.* now…. I will say, my most recent purchase of the Virtue shampoo was from Amazon. Most of my purchases have been directly from virtue. This most recent purchase seemed different to me; I’ve ALWAYS had the experience of non-lathering for my first wash - but for some reason the shampoo I received from Amazon lathers with both washes. And I’ve noticed my hair doesn’t feel as clean for as long; I typically only wash my hair twice a week and have been feeling the need to do so more frequently since buying from Amazon. I’m wondering if I’ve gotten a “knock off” formula…?Anyway - I hope this review helps someone! It’s heartbreaking to spend $40 on shampoo only to feel like you’ve wasted your money! I promise, try the double wash, you’ll notice a difference with the lathering on second wash and your hair will feel cleaner longer.

For context, I am in my 50s and have fine hair that is colored every 5 weeks. I used to use Pantene products and started having a painful burning reaction in the past 2 years to my hair color (which I attribute to being menopausal), which I've never had before. We tried everything, even adding the recommended sweetener to the color, but nothing really worked. I took a chance and changed my shampoo/conditioner to Virtue products because they were free of everything BAD for hair (parabens, phthalates, sulfates, synthetic colors and dyes, and gluten) and thought maybe that would make a difference. It did! In more ways than one. For starters, I can now color my hair and my scalp doesn't burn. Also, from the very first use my hair felt cleaner, and became shinier and healthier within a couple uses. Even my kids noticed. And it didn't feel like I had any waxy buildup like Pantene did.I honestly never thought my hair would EVER get back to this healthy again, but it honestly feels like it did when I was in my teens. Not even joking. On a sidenote, my 19yo daughter, who has thicker, naturally curly hair, also now uses it and the result after one wash was amazing -- she was so excited! Her curls were more defined (which comes from having more moisture, her previous shampoo was more drying) and her hair was shinier. One wash! Grateful that she is on a healthier hair regimen as well.HIGHLY recommend this shampoo and conditioner.

Makes hair feel thicker

I’ve been going on a long hair-repair journey from major hair-loss after an idiotic attempt to box bleach my own hair during Covid. Slowly and surely, I’m restoring it all. This shampoo, paired with both WOW Dream Cocktail and Dream Coat, using a new Revlon One-Step Volumizing Hairdryer has people complimenting me and asking what I’m doing different. Thank you!

This shampoo, highly touted, did nothing for my hair.May work for you???

I love this shampoo. This revie is from someone who has possibly tried millions of shampoos in the effort to retain thick glossy hair. This shampoo is wonderful because you don’t need two washes and it doesn’t dry everything out. My hair usually gets very oily, and it is fine and completely straight. I usually wash every other day but with this shampoo I can go an extra day. My hair is now very shiny and I am back to getting lots of compliments. The downsides are is that it is expensive and you can’t see how much shampoo is left in the container. It does have a scent. Which disappears.

After using Virtue Full Shampoo a few times, I noticed a change in my hair texture, it became frizzy with a dull, lifeless appearance. Curious about the cause, I looked into the formula and found it contains silicones, including Dimethicone. Although Virtue highlights the use of “lighter-weight, water-soluble silicones,” these can still create buildup over time, especially if not clarified regularly. This buildup leads to puffiness or frizz once the initial smoothing effect wears off.While the brand emphasizes its signature Alpha Keratin 60ku as a standout repair ingredient, the presence of silicones in the Full and Smooth lines may not work well for all hair types, particularly if your scalp is sensitive to residue or your hair is prone to frizz. I stopped using it right away.
