no, the battery could fall out, the same way the clock could fall off the wall. Although it could happen, it also very unlikely.

it's not a glass face. It's plastic and it doesn't appear to be removable.

Sorry, I bought this many years ago. Doesn’t really require instructions. Don’t know if there was a warranty. Runs just fine.

Q: What is the shipping weight?

I am not sure since I bought it with other items and shipping was free. Sorry, but it could not be that heavy.
